for example why cant we have intrepid veteran legendary member?
the intrepid showing that you have a high post count, while the veteran is showing how long you have been active for, and last the legendary showing how long you have been a member for.

your guys are taking this out of context of what i am trying to throw down. reread the OP

Because that would be a really long title.

Agreed, every single possible piece of information should be reflected in a user's title.

While we're at it, we should include prefixes for age, weight, hair color, skin color, country of origin, skill at Halo, amount of private messages received, number of saved threads, attractiveness (or existence) of significant other, and amount of times the "Forum Topics" button was clicked instead of the forum banner itself.

Some people do have more than one prefix, don't they? And the Veteran/Legendary basically mean the same thing. I know there's a slight difference but not enough to make a big change.

no this is not what i am getting at, some titles overwrite others. the example that i put up showed two different types of information, those that your posted has irrelevant info in there.

Because it would be really long and irritating to read?

I still remember the days when there were no prefixes at all.

Maybe separate them for time and post count, but it would still look a bit stupid.

i was a veteran legendary last week. what the title shows is that i have been active for several years, but have been a member for this number of years.

Key

Because with more than two prefixes we would need commas in our title.

  • 05.10.2012 2:25 PM PDT

Because it would over-fill the title bar and look stuffy.

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

That is why.
Also, one prefix sounds cooler.

You couldn't have Veteran, Elder and Senior, Honorable and Noble, or Intrepid and Fabled at the same time.

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

The length of the titles is just fine as it is. Three words sounds better than four in my opinion.

I don't know about you, but the reason I don't have a middle name appears to be so that people can gasp and think the world is ending whenever I tell them that I don't have a middle name.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Because most such as exalted covers many other titles, showing them all would be redundant. I will never know what other prefixes I have but I don't care that much because I am good with my current one.

Definitely simplicity.
The Title you just wrote wouldn't even fit in the bar.
