I may have posted this before but have you ever been banned for something only to have the rule you were banned for be lifted like a week after your ban ends?

I remember once I responded to a forum game and was caught in a carpet ban... Literally like a week after my ban ended the rule was removed...

You are all constructs of my solipsist mind.

I got banned for making a thread about an individual person... then that changed... and then I still got banned for making a thread about an individual person.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

Forum game = "BANNED>> no forum games". My first ban.

Are forum games allowed now? I'm sure they are, unless the rule was reinstated.

Why can't we put Bungie Cards here?

Not unless flaming has recently become acceptable

No.

Flaming is not allowed, and if you want to get technical, I got banned for spamming even though I only quoted the same quote in one post.

For Carnage Apply Within

They think that they have pacified Ireland. They think that they have purchased half of us and intimidated the other half. They think that they have foreseen everything, think that they have provided against everything; but the fools, the fools, the fools! — they have left us our Fenian dead, and while Ireland holds these graves, Ireland unfree shall never be at peace
-Pádraig Anraí Mac Piarais

Probably. I couldn't care less, though.

Opposite. I was banned once for doing something that was not outside the rules but then became against the rules without the actual rules thread changing to reflect it.

Drama drama drama!

They make up new rules when they ban me... Get on my level.

RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

I got banned for replying to Recon threads in the Halo 3 forum a couple times, back when that was against the rules.

I do believe that there are several rules that are no longer directly written in the rules, which moderators can still use against you.

Quoting what he said. I've seen the apparent rules on bumping, on posting about drugs and on how to tell if something is on topic all change as a result of stuff wot got me banned.

That or the moderators in question got it wrong but I think we all know the more likely explanation is that the rules inexplicably changed overnight.

GGGGGGggggggggggggGGGG

I was banned for posting a thread about a Youtube video.

  • 05.11.2012 8:34 AM PDT

I don't think responding to spam, or posting "+5" are bannable any more.

Ninja'd. Maybe they should make me a mod. I have already proven I can change this thread without even telling anybody. All I need now is to not justify my posts as much and I am set.

  • 05.11.2012 8:58 AM PDT

I'm pretty sure the mods made up that "replying to spam" bull-blam!- just to get me banned.

  • 05.11.2012 9:05 AM PDT

Have A Nice Day!

Commander, CammCam's Queensguard; Sapphire Mod; 34th Seat, Table of Avalon(Exiled);Captain, HAND

yolo? -blam!- that! YOLTOSS!! You Only Live Twice or Some -blam!-

I wish all the kiddies from the Halo 3 days who wanted Recon Armour had a memorial.

fyi original version of your last warning had 'could care less' in it before my conscience kicked in, for sake of making you rage each time you visited your profile page

No, the reason I was banned is still in force.

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

Nope, I'm pretty sure spamming is still bannable.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

No, because both spam, and posting vulgur/obscene comments are frowned upon.
