Just wondering if anyone else noticed this. But there are a few *FAKE* bungie servers. Like Bungie-CTF-3.14
And I don't remember if I proved it or not but Bungie-CTF-9

I can tell if its a fake or not because all bungie servers have the same IP, but force you to connect on a different port then 2302 (Hey that's where the lag came from xD)

These IP's aren't even in the Bungie range I recently discovered
Bungie-CTF-7:: IP 207.68.189.93:2304 (REAL)
Bungie-CTF-8 :: IP 207.68.189.93:2309 (REAL)
Bungie-CTF-9:: IP 66.199.187.60:2302 (FAKE)

Just wanted to alert the community, play not in these imposters :P

Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

Computer: Power Mac G5 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (2.2) Number Of CPUs: 2 CPU Speed: 1.8 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB Memory: 1.25 GB Bus Speed: 900 MHz

Fake? They're all playing Halo, right?

It's been a while since I hosted a game. What is the default server name? I know when you set up a new profile, it's "New 001" unless you change it. There are many "New 001" players. They are not impostors, just too lazy to type an original name. Does it work like that for servers?

What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

dont announce the real and fake servers. If an idiot who wants to tk goes there, and gets banned, he will find out that its fake.
Besides, bungie servers arent any good for games anymore. They are unkept, full of racisim and tking. Its a mess. Only reason I go there is to tk the tkers.
Like margarine.

I hate Bungie servers, too many bigots, tkers, new001s. You know what, I never go there because my ping goes up 150.

What Martyrdom said.

At least Halo PC isn't as bad as the Xbox Live crowd. I mean, most PC gamers are more mature, since if you're going to have a decent gaming PC, you're going to need money, getting money requires a job, and a job means you're going to be older, not to mention the knowledge required to run a PC, install Halo PC, set ports, all that other miscellaneous PC stuff, etc. While all you need to do to play Xbox Live is to buy an Xbox, buy a copy of Halo 2, and pay for the online service and it's quite simple. Above all, if you do meet jerks on HPC, which you unfortunately do (all online games have jerks, let's face it), at least you can't hear their voices, now can you?
