If someone has talked about this already I am sorry. This would be really sweet, if we could make our own maps on the X360 version like Far Cry Instincts Predator. Maybe have a dedicated server(s) set aside just for the maps made in the editor. Seeing how I play Halo 2 on live at least 3-5hrs a day or more depending on what day it is and If I have to work, having a map editor would probably double that. Which would make me an official hermit. Just thought I would mention this, what are your thoughts on this?

July 15, 2008... The day the timer stood still.

No. You would have to download every time you play on someone's map. The maps people make will be nowhere as good as the ones Bungie make. There's a reason it takes months to do it. If there was a map editor, then all the invisible walls, all the crap adding, all that stuff would be extremely complicated. For a computer game? Maybe. Halo 3? no.

No. We should stick with the official and professionally made maps from Bungie. Every Multiplayer map has its own story of history. It wouldnt work.

Sadly, I have to agree. Back in the starcraft days; a person just downloaded the homemade maps, But they were much more simple. A 3d world complicates things. I know games like Pariah have an editor. But it sucks. I guess we will have to see.
