Has anybody else noticed how ridiculously dysfunctional betrayal booting is? What do you think the chances are of anything being done about it?
Some examples:
-A team mate goes to assassinate an enemy I have stuck. The grenade explodes, and I am booted for betrayal.
-A team mate EMP's my vehicle, and gets splattered while it's out of control from the EMP. I am booted for betrayal.
-An enemy sticks my vehicle, which splatters a team mate when it is destroyed in the explosion. I am booted for betrayal.
-A team mate boards a vehicle I have just stuck, and is killed in the explosion. I am booted for betrayal.
On the flip side:
-A team mate throws stickies at my tank until it explodes. No boot option is given.
-A player spawn-kills his team mates with stickies and a shot gun for the duration of the game. No boot option is given.
-A team mate sticks a vehicle I have just hopped into. No boot option is given.
-A team mate shoots down my falcon with their scorpion. No boot option is given, despite the triple-betrayal.
Sound familiar? Surely if a team mate betrays you when no enemies are present, the system should be able to determine it was not accidental and offer a boot option. Similarly, if the same explosion that betrayed a team mate also killed an enemy, it should be a simple matter to realize that this was clearly accidental, and withhold the boot option.
