If they implement a instant message system, then that would be very useful.

I see many users that recognize and greet each other on the forums but they have no easy way of keeping in touch. Other than joining group which can be a hassle in itself for just the sake of keeping in touch.

I had thought of the idea of a friends list that help you keep track of users post and puts an icon by each thread where he posted so you can join in his discussion.

What are ya'lls opinion?
Some would say this isn't Facebook, but I wouldn't mind a friend feature, especially if it could be tied to setting up online get togethers for Destiny.

I think it would be a good idea, to keep certain members as "friends" or "contacts" in which it is easier to communicate on a regular basis.

One thing though, is that it may become Facebook, to where you have 500 friends, but you really only talk to less than 50 of them.

Xbox Ambassador: Feel free to ask any questions you might have about a Xbox issue in a PM to me. I may be able to help!

It's not that hard to just search their name using the 'Search Bar', is it?

Now if in the New Hawtness a PM system for multiple people came out, then I could see this being helpful.

If multiPM's don't happen, than I think the friend's list is pointless.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

I like that idea. It would be nice to have a list of friends on the site.

Like they always say, "You mess with the Helix Nebula, you get the WinyPit82."

Hi there! be sure to click that homepage link!

Funnily enough, I was thinking of the same thing just earlier.
After all, Achronos stated that bungie.net was originally a social site for bungie.com, and surprisingly, we don't even have friends lists.

What's the point of a friends list if it's empty?

  • 05.13.2012 6:43 AM PDT

It only takes a simple question to change everything.

This is not facebook!

I think it would be a pretty nifty feature.
