A terrible thought just struck me.

Watching the bonus DVD, I came to the interviews were the Bungie employees says, that they really could have used some more time to make the game (Halo2).

Now, Bungie has put a lot of work into this story, so it would seem very unlikely that they would accept, that they had to cut something out. But what if they fell behind schedule, and were forced to cut something out, to keep the deadline.

What do you think they should do?

I'd much rather have a game be delayed by a few months or even a year if it's going to be that much better. It seems that Bungie has had and will have a good amount of time to work on Halo 3. They were working on their "next project" which they said wasn't Halo 3 (but we all know it was) almost immediately after Halo 2 came out. It will probably come out in November 2007, which gives it about 16 months to finish the game. The biggest hiccup is that Bungie still has to pay attention to Halo 2 because of the multiplayer issues. So everyone STOP PLAYING HALO 2 SO WE CAN HAVE HALO 3 FASTER! Just kidding.

A good Game comeing out a little late is better than a Crappy game that comes out on time.

I agree. Better to wait longer for a greater game.

I just fear that Bungie would come under an enormously pressure from Microsoft to complete it as scheduled. Bungie would need lots of backup to go against Microsofts will.

Agreed. As long as delayed isn't a 1+ years.

I would rather the game come out on time, AND have everything it was supposed to have.

Hopefully the reason for the long wait for the announcement, was that they wanted to give us an accurate release date.
