Got-dang, how old was that signature?

I know Halo 3 is going to get all the typical sequel stuff, like new weapons, new baddies, new story, new moves, new vehicles , and better graphics. But I would like to be able to see...oh lets say 300 grunts on screen at one time with no chugging frame rate, and take out a dozen or so with a single human sniper shot. Or opening up two SMGs on 2000 little Flood (if they have a better name tell me). Basicaly I would like Halo 3 to support a HUGE amount of things on screen without crashing. Like if you looked at Kameo for the 360 or the upcoming 99 knights, they are displaying amazing amount of units at once, even if each of those units are not that smart, which is why the only thing that should apear in numbers like that are grunts, and little flood things. Also a lot more pieces can blow off of vehicles, flood, or if you want it a bit more gruesome, meaty chunks of grunt and marine flying around. It will make destructable enviroments all the sweeter as heavy weapons will actually blow chunks off buildings, maybe onto an unfortunate Jackal below. this might also make that rockect spamer in multiplayer much more annoying. Yay or Nay?

And I'd like a pony. Seriously.

They're called "Popcorn Flood" by most people..
Of course we all want to see thousands of things on-screen!

I am your shield, I am you sword (source).

I'n almost sure there will be hundreds, if not thousands of units on screen at some points. Remember when someone asked Bungie how many polygons the models in halo 3 use compared to halo 2, and they answered they aren't many more in halo 3, but that the difference in graphics is achieved by using advanced lightning and other effects, and that the polygons are saved for other things that will be announced later? Well, the most natural things to do with a surplus of polugons would be to put LOTS of models on screen at the same time (another possibility is destructible enviroments, though). Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be really cool. I just hope they can achieve 64-128 players on live without lagg, for example with the possibility to make dedicated un-ranked servers (you could give admin rights to your friend and always have your server up&running while you have something else to do), or putting up their own, MS paid servers.
