Because your colorblind...and colorblind people dont see black and white you turn mongler....they see one color as a different. So if you see red as orange then the orange dots are evil.

Reach MMO. Here's to hoping.

And the people that believe "the hardcore playlists would be more popular if the rules were strictly MLG" can come off it, now. If you're not willing to support something close to your own setup, there's no reason for us to believe that cloning our own lists and stripping the variety down will attract more people. -- Shishka, Bungie.net

That's why I never want you watching my back in a video game or especially in real life. I think you are just going to have to play with your handicap.

Navy Football #45

Even though I feel sorry for your impairment, Bungie isn't going to change it due to the 1 percent or less of people who may need it.

Though they could give you an option.

if what ur saying is true, which i doubt it is, then that means that you cant differentiate between any colors. Which would make it extremely hard to play halo. I dont think it would even be possible to play if all colors were the same to you.

ROFL. Colorblind people simply see one color as a different one. Its not all black and white you lumlum.

If all the colors appeared as one color then the entire world would be that one colors.Youd be walking in an infinite -insert color here- Void. I mean typing must be a mess. A the shadows and keys and colors merging. Im surprised you can drive to your local game retailer buy Halo 2 and play and THEN get mad about there not being a colorblind option. Pffy. Wow Your a theoritical anomolie

  • 06.05.2006 12:41 PM PDT

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Some colour blind people can see some colours as being the same. For example, they might see both yellow and red as orange, and would be an-able to tell the difference. Try being nicer to people. It makes you look like less of a jerk.

I really don't understand how this would be so hard for Bungie to implement, I mean that is how it was in Marathon you had different shapes as well as colours.

Halo is the only game i own that the dots on the radar look the same its a dammm easy fix and theres lots of colour blind people . change the shape of one dot make one brighter than the other make one colour flourecent its really not that hard

Battel Field 2 BLUE AND YELLOW very easy to tell apart because yellow is so much brighter (AND BEFORE SOME DUMB ASS POSTS IT SAYS THE F#$%$## COLOUR IN THE MANUAL THATS HOW I KNOW)

Yeah, I feel sorry for you. Write to Bungie don't tell me; I know I am an upstanding member of the Bungie community but please, I cannot give Bungie all your idears at once.

EDIT= Punctiation makes me sound more educated, older and more official. ;)

yes, BattleField 2 does have a color blind friendly HUD. i think its a great idea, just put a color blind friendly HUD option in the options menu...its not that hard.

He's just a genius in the computer and game world. Enough said.

Whoever is acting like a jerk, well your pathetic. Yes some people are fully coloublind, I know my cousin is. It simply means that the coulour sensories in theres eyes either don't work or aren't there. This means that they can still see shades as it is different sensors that sense the strenght of light. Basically if you take what you see and then convert it to grayscale, that's what he sees. Now it's a handicap enough as it is but with the Halo moition sensor it's magnified as all the dots look the same. I understand where he's coming from aswell since my T.V.'s on the fritst and has a perminent red tint. This makes all the dots look the same colour to me, I'm basically playing colour blind. He's not asking for a major thing here people, just a small change that will help an already handicaped person compete better. And to whoever said he was lying, why would he be? I mean come on, don't acuse people randomly, think befopre you speak.

You people who are giving this kid a hard time for being colorblind need to obtain a certain thing called Empathy. Or are you just being asshats for your own enjoyment?

There is NO REASON why Bungie can't or shouldn't make a color-blind friendly radar. It's very simple. Either use colors that have a high contrast, differentiate the dots somehow, or include an option like in PDZ that allows you to change the color of the radar that allows it to be visible.

Bungie can do what EA did with BF2, they have the regular HUD, but have a color blind friendly HUD option in the options menu...

So in other words, because you personally like it, they shouldn't change it so that people can actually see it?
