More easter eggs and collectibles in the 'Mombassa Streets' mission

Ahh, yes. Collectibles in Mombasa Streets and some easter eggs would be nice. Places to explore where there's things you can interact with, etc. That'd be so great. Mombasa Streets is fun enough, as it is. That'd make it ever better.

Games I like:,
Half-Minute Hero
MBU
Portal
Halo 3 is the best Halo ever
Maps I like: Turf, Avalanche, Pylon, Sandbox, Breakpoint and many more.

Multijrachi, I actually quoted Ghost

And how have I given you evidence for me supposedly being 11?

You act like a young kid who doesn't want to use Google to search for things, asking stupid questions.

Mainly however, you don't listen to others when they try to answer your questions, but rather continue arguing against them.

Google for what?

And I only argue against something when I feel I have something to say against it.

Simple things, like your Questions about Halo 3. They have been answered before, and would have been found by a simple google.

I would love to see this included, and maybe add random stray pets (Such as the rats seen on Crows Nest) running around the city.

I know getting game mechanics and AI to work would be hard, but Firefight Forge would have been awesome.

in all Halo games that would be awesome.

and it's own multi-player. i think it would have been fun to play as ODST's in MM.

I agree that playing as in ODST in Multiplayer would be such a blast. I kinda wish they'd include that in Halo 4, but that's obviously not gunna happen.

Were it so easy...

What I'd like to see in another ODST game.

1- Taking a health pack when you didn't intend to is a bit frustrating. It should require an "action" to take one, like in Reach. Or, put them near the spawn room, but in a location where you're not likely to get near them during gameplay. Automatically picking one up through a wall or what seems like several feet away shouldn't happen.

2- Would be nice if all FF maps had a safe spot for weapon caches, like Alpha Site's elevator - at least during solo play.

Yeah, the placement of some things in Halo... it's just annoying (i.e. terminals in Anniversary).

Yeah, I remember accidently picking up a health pack a lot when my screen turned red, but my health had actually not gone down yet.

Ehh, if it wasn't laggy I wouldn't mind this at all.

But, I really don't mind not having it. I don't like playing with randoms. I'd rather get a group of my friends to play with me.

Ahh, I forgot about this. I would have liked to see the BR. But, to tell you the truth, I'm pretty sure the scope that they added onto the SMG was to make up for the lack of the BR. I wouldn't mind seeing it in there, though. No doubt.

  • 05.30.2012 10:44 AM PDT

ODST Mulitplayer, access to the insides of buildings and rooftops, more civillian casulities and maybe skirmishes between Elites/Marines and Brutes. A greater emphasis on stealth and evasion, maybe flashbangs would have been a good addition.

But really, I thought it was great.

EDIT: maybe some sort of civillian evac situation in Mombassa Streets? You come across a group of civillians and marines fighting nearby Covenant, you help them, then they just run away or something and they're 'saved'.

You see, I'm not so convinced. I think the assault rifle flourished as a weapon in the absence of the battle rifle.

I'm not sure what you mean. The AR is a good weapon, yes. Having the BR there or not seems irrelevant.

The Battle Rifle is pretty much unarguably the utility weapon of the Halo franchise. It has a multitude of uses in almost every situation you could encounter, has a lot of ammo normally, has little to no drawbacks, and is readily available in most situations. By removing it from ODST, players are forced to use more weapons to deal with these differing situations, leading to a higher amount of weapon variety, and bringing out each weapon's strengths and weaknesses.

I don't know about you, but I spent almost every minute in Halo 3's Campaign and Multiplayer either walking around with a Battle Rifle or aiming to acquire one at some point. Whereas in Halo 3: ODST, I used a much higher variety of weapons in both Campaign and Firefight.

Spec Ops style mode, even if they didn't tie it into the main story at all. I'd play it just for another drop cinematic.

Not entirely on topic but ODST 2 is what I want to see. Same engine, but with a story line similar to H2, with Elites and Humans in separate storylines that eventually meet.

Maybe the humans are retaking Harvest after the end of H3 and the brutes have set up there. Elites are hunting a prophet that comes to Harvest for support from the brutes. Elites and humans form uneasy relationship. Throw in some space battles and allow multiple objectives and paths to them and everything's golden.

I'm pretty sure they already took back Harvest before Halo 3.

I think ODSTs have way too much health for Multiplayer. Ever try to kill a teammate in FF? It takes FOREVER.

That's just for allies. It's the same thing when you're playing as an Elite in Reach Firefight.

If ODST players were treated as enemies, then they would do the proper damage.
