By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I'm personally glad the BR wasn't in ODST. I liked having to rely on a mix of weapons for different situations rather than having the BR to use in EVERY circumstance. The Silenced Pistol and SMG were excellent replacements.

Yeah, I completely understand where you're coming from. It was nice to use a variety of weapons rather than just sticking to the BR all the time. Not to contradict my other statement, I do think it would've been nice to see it. But, maybe only in Firefight or something like that. Or maybe just a few small sections of the campaign.

I'd be fine with it being in Firefight and the final mission in the campaign. Or even an Easter Egg appearance where you have to do something specific in the city to 'unlock' it where it would then appear in the garages around the city.

It would've be fun to have to try and do something in order to 'unlock' it in Mombasa Streets. But, having it during the final mission would've really come in handy. Luckily the Carbine is still in the game. That helped me out a lot during the final mission when the waves of enemies were coming. I'm sure the BR would've done the same and would've been just as fun to use.

add a real multiplayer

The cooperative play in Firefight was as real as it gets. And it's a blast when playing with friends.

a real campaign
ODST's campaign was arguably the best Halo campaign to date. If you're a fan of the story and lore, then the campaign is definitely one of the best - if not the best.

only one i dont have. played it for a bit
Yet, you think it sucks? Have you even played through the whole campaign? How could you judge a game you barely played?

More people in a FF game.

6 more hours to the campaign.

Because then it can make up for the loss made by Reach's campaign.

Like ajw once stated, they should've made ODST the three year project instead of Reach. That would've been fantastic and a great end to Bungie's era of making Halo games. Instead they gave us Reach, which was basically a middle finger.

Forge mode for firefight maps.

Ehh, I liked the Firefight maps the way they are. But, I guess it could be cool.

I'd add multiplayer.

I agree that multiplayer would be a blast to play with ODSTs.

Spartans are from Venus and Elites are from Uranus

An explanation as to why Buck knew where to find Dare at the end of ODST or a competitive multiplayer would have been nice.

Halo multiplayer sucks!

Based on campaigns

Halo 2 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo 3 > Reach/CE tied

More realistic gameplay, such as not being able to beat down brutes, and beating down jackals and grunts reduces your stamina. Maybe add a combat knife to replace melee. Battle rifle and plasma rifle should return.

Yeah, we didn't see them eat any food throughout the entire game. A master chef would be good so they can get their daily protein and the like.

But, it'd also be cool if we saw the Master Chief in the game. I wouldn't like to play as him, I'd just like to see him or at least hear of him.

Either elites or its own multiplayer.

117th reply. Nice.

But, I liked the way they represent the Elites in ODST actually. Representing the Covenant Civil War that the ODSTs were oblivious to.

However, ajw (a friend of mine on the forums) once suggested an Elite DLC that played as the Elites during the ODST game and having to fight against the Brutes. I'd love to of had that.

The cold ghost has come, the sorrow forgotten will be remembered...

Dual wielding....would be alot more fun if I could hold two guns at the same time....I could just drop them during melee and scoping...

It would be fun to have duel wielding again. I miss it from Halo 3. I wouldn't mind at all having regular SMGs to wield. Or, like you said, you just drop one when you scope in. I guess that could work.

The ability to disrupt AI patrols. You'd place your crosshair on a patrolling target, hold RB (causing a waypoint to appear above his head), choose another spot within a certain range (represented by King of the Hill hill marker) then release (the waypoint will then mark that spot), causing him to go over to that spot.

The lure: low frequency sound that can only be heard by the selected target

The drawback: nearby Covies will inspect his corpse if they spot it, heightening their alert level. So you will have to move that body out of sight if possible.

If he's a Brute Captain, some Grunts and Jackals may follow him.

If he's a Brute Chieftain, he'll pimp walk with up to 12 nearby Brutes surrounding him. The Chieftain's power armor will be disabled upon entering that zone but he won't stay too long.

Hmm...that's a new and different idea. It seems pretty cool and I'm sure -- considering the time period of Halo -- they'd have something like that.

It makes sense too. The Brutes are drawn to sound, so I don't see why it wouldn't be effective.

The only thing that people may argue is that it's not very "Halo". Well, I think it could fit in well, maybe. It'd be a nice little experiment.

Glad you like it!

Agreed.

I got the idea from playing as Predator in Aliens vs. Predator (2010). It's not a great game but the distraction ability looked like something that could work in a stealth game.
