Bungie has a demonstrated passion for all things statistics, so why don't we have a statistics page for things to do with Bungie.net, such as number of members to join that day, number of posts etc. It seems like a great idea to me.

Suggest other statistics such a page could hold.

IN BEFORE YOU NEGATIVE NANCY'S COME UP WITH SOME BOGUS REASON AS TO WHY THIS WOULDN'T BE A GOOD IDEA, BECAUSE I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE... JUST WAITING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO SAY "OH, NO, IT COULD BE ABUSED!" OR "WE DON'T NEED THIS."...

Sorry for the caps, by the time I realised it was too late.

I also maintain that Chrome is weaksauce, and IE9 is fast and works very well

In the past two years we've made over 30 million posts.

I would love to see statistical information pertaining to B.net. Something I always wonder when I come the forums is how many people are there online and on what forums. That's something I've especially started to think since Bungie went dark, how many of us still frequent here?

But yes, having a page where we could check statistics pertaining to the site and forum usage would be a very nice little addition. At least for people like me who like enjoy statistical information. For once a feature I would absolutely love.

The reason we don't have it is to prevent people from gaming the forums.

Not quite sure as to how this would be abused.

Bungie.me is a good start, but not detailed enough. Bungie.net could have a statistics page with amount of accounts, posts, threads and groups created, the division between titles and prefixes and maybe a few statistics for the most popular group. But best of all, we could have live statistics of the forums showing how many people are online and what forums they are using as I suggested earlier. Those are just some features Bungie.me doesn't and can't show.

There is no registration. You just type in a username/group and they are added to the database to be tracked in the future.

It sounds like your idea would need to be ironed out a little more but I don't see how it wouldn't work. Kudos.
