I was very disappointed to spend all of the time I spent on H2 legendary for nothing. I would really like to see another bonus, comedic ending in H3 for finishing legendary.

yeah and how about not no more of that co-op legendary crap where if you're partner dies you have to respawn...i absolutely hated that.....but yeah a different ending woulda been nice....dont know what it coulda been though seeing as how the game just kinda stopped....

A funny thing with Halo 2 was I though if I beat it on legendary I would get a new level =)
But I think ther eshould be something extra that you get for beating the game on legendary.

There were bonuses for legendary...
ever heard of the skulls?

And technically, legendary isnt the hardest difficulty, theres a skull that unlocks a harder difficulty.

Half of the skulls were really crappy. And technically I guess there is a harder difficulty. If we made the enemies on legendary have less health we could kick there asses easy.

The only skulls I liked were the Sputnik,Envy, and the Grunt Birthday Party skull you could have some good times with them.

I liked that thing when your partner died on legendary it restarted at a checkpoint, to complete legendary it takes skill, not just, take them down one at a time with say 2 lifes, and besides, in the easier difficulties, you had infinite ammo if you killed you partner, not the case on legendary. A bonus would be very good for completing legendary, I might sound very hard now but, the ability to go Live might be a good bonus, yes, I know, you wnat to go live as fast as possible, but do you want to play with dorks who just picked up the game and don't know how to play, just testing what Live is? Besides that, a fun cutscene or something would be nice

Legendary was ultra-cheap on Halo 2 though, all it boiled down to was memorize were the Jackal snipers are. The skulls were interesting, but the lack of ability to try and collect them on Co-op was terrible and should be in the next game if possible. I digress though, it would be nice if we got an extra multiplayer level for beating legendary, like Foundation was supposed to be, but not a level as bad a s Foundation. We want a reward, not a punishment.

Yeah some should but not the crappy games that I cant beleive even get made. Like Perfect Dark *Original* (PD Zero sucked bad) you would got a new level for beating the game on the 3 difficulties and an extra difficulty Goldeneye had this also.

Sorry, but I don't agree. I believe LIVE is called LIVE for a reason; to play it now, on the scene...not later after playing for days to beat legendary.

Maybe a playlist though...with a bonus map. That would be cool, but that might also be hard, so that should be a reward for like heroic.

And something behind your name in Matchmaking...like where Bungie.net appears now, it could say "Legend" or "Veteran"

dude the reason why bungie did that so you can learn to co-operate with your partner, thus the name cooperative. Besides when you think about it its like playin 1 player legendary but u have double firepower( tip just because there are two people that dosent give u a reason to get cocky thats why it is so hard).

legendary is the hardest difficulty. nothing is "unlocked" with a skull

you cant choose a harder mode to play in

Every game should do this it adds to gameplay the way MGS2 did with dog tags. Since legendary will be very hard on the next Halo there should be some kind of reward for it. My personel idea is that beating certain difficulties would open new looks for your Live emblem, and maybe play as a grunt on campaign.
