Well, I apoligize in advance if this topic has been done to death 3 times over by now. I'm not actually going to ask the question on this though. I did a reply on a different topic, but I wanted to start a new topic on, since it seems to have moved on to the 2nd page.... I'm esentially just copy and pasting it, and I would like to know what you guys think on the my reasons and such. Here we go, this was it originally:

I dont think online Co-Op would make it into the final cut. Few reasons behind this: People are different. My brother and I (and friends) like to occasionaly start killing each other, and start explosions, etc. What if you got a tightwad, and didn't exactly appreciate this, or you were that tightwad, and just wanted to play the campaign? It's not to friendly..... Then there are disconnects... I know, only Ethernet enabled homes can do it, but If someone disconnects, or just up and leaves, then what happens toy our game? Do you restart? Would it just freeze? Would it matter? It may continue on with out someone else, but then what was the point on getting on Live in the First place?

And on online split screen multiplayer.... I give that a no no. I would love to see it, But i'm also a sportsman. One, I beleive having this feature in the most anticipated Xbox game could hurt sales for said game, xbox system, and Live subscriptions. We ourselves here wouldn't of course hurt, since it seems most here are the die hard, live, eat, breathe Halo. But what I'm gettin at is, if One friend has it, and he's/she' got a few other friends that dont have it, but want to play online, he/she's got up to 3 freeloaders right there. Free game for them basically, and if they dont have to buy a system for awhile and do that, then sales would start lagging. Maybe my thing on that seem outstretched, but that's what I see none the less. Also, like I said, I would love to see it, but it's also unfair in another way. If some friends come over, and plug in to start in while I'm on a 16 player game, that would probably boot off other players. Now I know it most likely will not be a hard or long proccess to find another game, it's just not the right thing to do. I wouldn;t want to be kicked off, or kick someone else off, during, or even while a new game is loading.

I didn't read your whole post because it was long and I'm lazy, but basically, I think so. My friends don't have Live, but they really like playing. But with most games, we have to take turns, and when there's four of us, it takes a while to get a turn. So usually we just go back to playing Halo system link....and recreating that on Live would be awesome.

Your honesty is most appreciated good sir. Your right, recreating that type of experiance on live would be awesome, so it has it obvious perks of course, but some downfalls.

nah, we gotta have the multiplayer online thing, my house is a multiplayer house, my brother, always home, me always having friends around, these thigns are something to have in a DECENT game.... one of my friends cant even get fast internet in his area, everyone with an X-Box will get that game, so i dont see how it would affect sales... having the multiplayer online ability, would in fact (most likely) attract people to buying the game due to it's great feature.... Just make it something like, people who dont have their own X-Box LIVE acount cant tal;k online, or something like that, even though without an extra microphone it dont matter... also, i'd like to add some evidence, my brother mentioned, that if halo has 2 player online at one time, he would probably buy a LIVE account so he can join in with all the people and not use my account all the time...

True that this could actually enhance sales. I guess that it's a matter that can not be fully figured out unless TONS of research is done. I still stand by my not including answer even though i would love to see it in the final version. Yeah it sounds stupid.... but I'm psycho steve, what can i say.....
