It won't allow it.

I think, I will try it.
One small step for users, one giant leap for Bungie.net.

THIS CANNOT BE!

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

You are allowed to do this. I just tried it, and it works.

Other accounts will get blacklisted as they're from the same IP.

Sessions cookies, the little pieces of text shared between your browser and the server which identifies you and your current "logged-in" state, are stored in browser-specific directories and are not shared between each other.

For example, IE, IIRC, stores them in your Temporary Internet Files (or something like that) folder, while Firefox stores them in your Firefox profile folder.

http://www.capturemyhaloclips.com/ - Get your Halo clips captured.
The Artists Corner - Show other members your artistic talent.
Storywrite - Where I am writing my book.

I don't see the point in it. I like signing in with this account and I only ever sign in with my alt if something goes wrong with this one.

Isn't WLID a cookie based sign-in? Because cookies aren't exchanged between browsers, you can sign in with different accounts at the same time.

Regardless, this isn't new.

Now I understand why the blacklist 'link' (or however it works (IP?)) is a great tool.

You're seriously just finding this out?

This is how people talk to their alts.

I noticed it, but I did not dare risk being banned. Evidently it is not a bannable offence.

Main account gets banned and blacklisted. Alternate account signs in and is linked - somehow - to the main account (IP?) and is banned and blacklisted.

Naa. That's cookie based too.

IP isn't that great either. I get a new IP address every time I restart my modem.

By creating an alternate account? Yeah, just about everyone does.

No, you'd have to create an alt. When an account is banned, that piece of information is stored on a server somewhere, and when you try to log into that account again, it'll just replace the cookie you deleted and keep you banned.

I think the discussion of negative exploits on Bungie.net with the intention of making said exploits is a bannable offence, so as my question has been answered let's keep it at that.

End of discussion, I think :)

No, you'd have to create an alt. When an account is banned, that piece of information is stored on a server somewhere, and when you try to log into that account again, it'll just replace the cookie you deleted and keep you banned.

Example: if this is my main and i makr and alt and my alt gets banned and i dont delete my cookies then this account gets banned but if i delete my cookies then im good.
