So, when I go to my favorite site, bnet, sometimes I am already signed in and other times, I have to sign in. What causes this?

Also, when I check the "remember my email and password" button, the next time I have to sign in, I invariably have to enter my email and password, anyway. What causes this?

Of, course these are not major issues. I am just wondering why they occur, at times.

Accounts here are connected to Windows Live ID's.
If you're signed into a WLID, you'll be signed into that one on here.

Those "remember my email and password" check boxes often work by placing a cookie on your computer to store that information so the website can request it later. A lot of browsers are set to delete your cookies when you close them, which deletes that information. This is a setting that can be changed for your browser if that's what is giving you problems.

Personally, I'm not a fan of using such features. Passwords exist for a reason, and those features circumvent that security.

While I recognize my account is link to xboxlive I do not sign into that account. Heck, I never even visit the site.

I use safari . . . how do I set the browser to "private"?

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Clear cookies and never hit 'remember me' or 'remember password'.
