GT: BigstickToucan
My old Bungie.net account was created February 6, 2008. Unfortunately, I had signed up using my brother's email account (we then shared an Xbox Live account which was linked to my old Bungie.net account), and he changed the password, meaning I couldn't log in. Thus is why I have this account.
I remember in 2003 when I was seven years old (great age, right?) and I was at the mall with my family. My older brother who was 13 at the time went to what was then EB Games, and I kind of tagged along with him. I remember him buying the game, and even though Halo: Combat Evolved was rated M, the employee didn't really say anything and just sold it to him.
I then remember getting home and watching my brother play the campaign. My earliest memory of Halo is watching him drive around in the Warthog on the level Halo. Little did I know, this game would become my favorite game (and game series) of all time, and for the next seven years I would spend hours a day playing it.
When Reach came out, I was kind of disappointed and honestly I haven't played too many games of it. Not nearly as much as I did on Halo 3. Maybe I grew away from Halo. I dunno. But the Halo series still remains my favorite series of all time and is definitely the defining game of my childhood.
Long live Bungie, and let's hope that their next game becomes the defining game of my early adult years.
