I was just playing Halo for the umptienth time when i looked down at a dead Hunter who was turned face down. I hadnt noticed it before but, his arm with the fuel rod gun attached to it is considerably shorter than his other arm (the one with the shield attached). Now I know their not born with one arm about a foot shorter than the other, so they must decapitate part of their arms just to weild the fuel rod guns. I also noticed something else, I always wondered why they attached the guns to their arms anyway but after a long look at their arms I saw that they dont really have hands at all. Now I know its a game but on the Elites you can distictly see hands but not with the Hunters. So thats it, the Hunters MUST attach their guns and shields because they CANT hold them.

Subject: Hunters, and the weapons attached on their arms.

I personally think that the Hunter's armor holds them in their "combat form". Out of their armor they are almost like worms or slugs.

I always though the Hunters were kind of like giant worms manipulating the armor from within. This would make sense, but you really can see a hand if you look carefull at the arm that is holding the shield.

Hunter's do have hands. If you look at the arm that holds the sheild, you can see that the hunter has 3 claws attached to its hand.

Never even thought about that

That's an aggressive sounding worm though...

I always thought they were like, bipedal orange, almost human-like, but short, and their armor is what makes them big. If you look at them, it looks like stretch marks, as if they were stretched to fit in the armor.

They don't really have eyes, ears, or noses either. You wouldn't think that something missing so many senses could be so dangerous. :P And i never really thought about the whole "slug/worm" thing before, but it does kinda make sense.

When I say short, I mean without armor, and like, their armor stretches them

there tall they have hands they couldnt be worms because then they couldnt stand up they would lay down and they wouldnt have ligaments the wierdest thing about them are the spikes on the back what are they used for they look sweet i wish they would use them to cover there vulnerable spot so they could die as easy

did the covies give them that armor when they "joined" the covenant? casue it said that the hunters always won ground battles, before "joining". i wonder how a giant orange slug would fare on the battlefeild. if you think about it, without armor, hunters are very weak. they must have had that armor in advance. but still, i hope in H2 we get to see (dont take this the wrong way) naked hunters. *in pathetic sounding voice* oh.. for a glimpse of halo 2!
