its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.
Were all familiar with the multiplayer map Waterworks, right? Ok. After playing several matchmaking games, always getting the Banshee, I notice a few "things" that intrigued me. So I start up a custom game and explore. Here are my findings.
Before you start the game, read the Waterworks’ map description:
While Forerunners excelled at mimicking natural Beauty, the machinery in this cavern exemplifies their true genius.
*I'll explain the importance of this later.*
Now start the game.
Go to Red Base and grab the Banshee. Fly to the top of the level, where the large holes in the cavern top lay. Examine the sky above the holes. You notice a few things.
First, you would see two objects. A moon and a star. The moon looks a lot like Earth's Moon. Why? Because it is. Don't believe me. Examine the moon in Waterworks. Start up another game. Put the map on Zanzibar. Start the game. Look up, and then look at the moon. They look exactly the same. Concluding that the moon in Waterworks is the Earth’s moon. If that is the case, then you can also conclude that the star you observed is Earth’s sun also.
When examining the sky above the hole in Waterworks, you also notice another thing. Or should I say, you don't notice one thing: The Ring. What do I mean? Start up a game with any "Halo" map. Look into the horizon. You see Halo extend above the horizon, and then curve back behind you. You don't such a thing in the sky on Waterworks, like you would in Containment, Relic, Coagulation, Sanctuary, and countless other maps now do you?
Don't forget the map description I said above. Why is it important? Read some other descriptions, like Backwash. It says the map is on Delta Halo. Not the case with Waterworks. All it says is that it was built by the Forerunners. That’s all.
~Another Point~
What other stuff do you find on the map. Let me guess, Human stuff, such as boxes and fusion cores, things you would on find on Earth maps, like Turf and Zanzibar. This implicates that Humans have already explored that area.
~Conclusion~
Forerunners built that station, and it’s on Earth, and Humans already discovered it. But it makes no sense. But only one theory explains it: The [ u]Ackerson Theory[/u]. Waterworks also may be a part of the Ark or other related Forerunner structures on Earth.
Other Conclusions:
It may be the artifact found on Chorel, as said in the Conversations from the Universe booklet. It can also be on another Human colony
Point: The Moons phase and the star don't match, implicating a binary star. Although, if it was a binary star, why is the star in view not affecting the moon's phase, because if there was a binary star affecting the phases, wouldn't it be in a full phase, because of the star in view? This affect cannot be explained. I'm am consulting the Halo books to attempt to explain such outcome.
