its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

Were all familiar with the multiplayer map Waterworks, right? Ok. After playing several matchmaking games, always getting the Banshee, I notice a few "things" that intrigued me. So I start up a custom game and explore. Here are my findings.

Before you start the game, read the Waterworks’ map description:

While Forerunners excelled at mimicking natural Beauty, the machinery in this cavern exemplifies their true genius.

*I'll explain the importance of this later.*

Now start the game.

Go to Red Base and grab the Banshee. Fly to the top of the level, where the large holes in the cavern top lay. Examine the sky above the holes. You notice a few things.

First, you would see two objects. A moon and a star. The moon looks a lot like Earth's Moon. Why? Because it is. Don't believe me. Examine the moon in Waterworks. Start up another game. Put the map on Zanzibar. Start the game. Look up, and then look at the moon. They look exactly the same. Concluding that the moon in Waterworks is the Earth’s moon. If that is the case, then you can also conclude that the star you observed is Earth’s sun also.

When examining the sky above the hole in Waterworks, you also notice another thing. Or should I say, you don't notice one thing: The Ring. What do I mean? Start up a game with any "Halo" map. Look into the horizon. You see Halo extend above the horizon, and then curve back behind you. You don't such a thing in the sky on Waterworks, like you would in Containment, Relic, Coagulation, Sanctuary, and countless other maps now do you?

Don't forget the map description I said above. Why is it important? Read some other descriptions, like Backwash. It says the map is on Delta Halo. Not the case with Waterworks. All it says is that it was built by the Forerunners. That’s all.

~Another Point~

What other stuff do you find on the map. Let me guess, Human stuff, such as boxes and fusion cores, things you would on find on Earth maps, like Turf and Zanzibar. This implicates that Humans have already explored that area.

~Conclusion~

Forerunners built that station, and it’s on Earth, and Humans already discovered it. But it makes no sense. But only one theory explains it: The [ u]Ackerson Theory[/u]. Waterworks also may be a part of the Ark or other related Forerunner structures on Earth.

Other Conclusions:

It may be the artifact found on Chorel, as said in the Conversations from the Universe booklet. It can also be on another Human colony

Point: The Moons phase and the star don't match, implicating a binary star. Although, if it was a binary star, why is the star in view not affecting the moon's phase, because if there was a binary star affecting the phases, wouldn't it be in a full phase, because of the star in view? This affect cannot be explained. I'm am consulting the Halo books to attempt to explain such outcome.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

you know what, that is a damn interesting theory my friend. but when did humans discover it?

Halo 3: Collapse
Chapter 20, Revelations, is up (update 11-14-10)
The Mirratord

Ω

Very good. Just like how "Rat Race" in CE was "dug on Installation 04." Now, when would humans have had any time to dig a tunnel complex on Halo 04 before it was destroyed? And why?

you know i really have to give it up to you man because you are the only person whos theory that is both believable and has actuall fugging evidence. Everyone else just keeps rambling on about random crap they made up but your theory actually has fugging proof instead of just speculaton

Great find mate! I never noticed such or even thought to look through the halo 2 maps for hints. Everything fits perfect, there doesn't seem to be any holes in the theory. Nice one =-)

Sierra 173 - The Siegebreaker

I think my friend FightingRaven has just discovered a clue to something...it may only hold the secret that the map is based on Earth and nothing more, but I find no reason to doubt your theory, dude. It all makes sense to me. Good eye for spotting the Moon hangin around out there. I never thought anything about that untill you mentioned it.

I just read the Ackerson theory too while I ate my chow. Pretty crazy stuff but it gets you thinking...If what he says is true, Halo 3 will be a long and complicated game. (But that's not even close to being bad, I love twist endings!). We'll see though.

You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."

Nice, you hit that one right on the spot. Makes a lot more sense than some of the nonsense people keep making. I do have some doubts about Ackerson having to do with any of this though. Perhaps the stuff was just added for decoration? Or the multiplayer spartans brought in some toys to play with? Another problem would be the holes themselves. Think about it. If the holes were there surely somebody would have spotted the area through direct witness or satellite imaging or something. Perhaps the holes were made sometime near the activation? And the machine in the center is a piece of that shiny thing at the end of the trailer?

His theory doesn't have proof. The only "evidence" he has is that a moon looks familiar. Have you been to any other planets to see what their moons look like from planet level? You don't know it is Earth's moon.

Don't forget the lack of the Ring.

Wow, well Ill hop on and check out the moon to verify if its Earth's. It should be pretty simple depending on how thurough Bungie is. If it is in fact Earth's moon it should have some very distinct features on parts of it. Ill be back.
