For those who said I was flaming... I think you take what I say far too personally. If you reread it... I can't fathom how you think that's a flame when all I did was present proof and common sense to despute something many Halo fans think is gospel. A Halo INSIDE Earth...
I'd like to know how Earth having the same rotation, habitat types, weather, and everything else as a Halo structure makes it have a Halo inside of it. Anyone ever consider that the Halo rings were possibly modeled after Earth instead, and not the other way around? Perhaps even Earth was modeled after the Forerunner planet? Or maybe it's the Forerunner homeworld? Why aren't these theories as valid, or MORE valid than a Halo inside of the Earth? They certainly make a LOT more sense...
I'd also like to point out that while you may think I have no life in order to memorize the books and games and other various Halo things... I'd like to point out that you probably post here more often than I do, and thus have LESS of a life.
It takes you longer to post here than it does for me to memorize much of the Halo dialogue from the games.
I played Halo 1 until NEAR memorization and only played Halo 2 storyline about five times. I have much of that memorized as well. You don't need time, you simply need a good memory and a will to commit it there. My good memory does not mean I have no life. Please think before you type. It saves me time in posting a rebuttle to you.
I'd also like to retract my statement about finding it in the CFTU booklet... I just skimmed through it again and can't find it. I was sure it was in there... But perhaps not. I've been rereading the Halo books, and I may have found it in there instead. If I find the passage again, I'll quote it...
I distinctly remember reading that all sentient lifeforms are somehow DRAWN to Forerunner structures and tech.
Also.... It could be that the Ark is on Earth... But Bungie could be messing with us. Perhaps the Ark is NOT on Earth, but another distinct planet instead? Like I said... We won't know until the game comes out. I'd like to think that the Ark is on Earth... But maybe... Well... It seems too easy. And the fact that we're all speculating about it, makes it almost too hard. When they mention the Ark at the end of Halo 2, we zip back to Earth... But... We don't know for sure. Bungie could put it there and satisfy our expectations... Or throw something NEW at us, and prove it's not there, but that Earth has coordinates or something TO the Ark. We just don't know yet. Sadly, only Bungie knows.
And I, for one, eagerly await to see how they will wrap this up. And I hope it's worth the $120 it'll cost me!
I agree with the ring in earth theory being poo..it's totally impossible by BUngie's standards, physics, Bungie's Haloverse physics, and common sense.
He was suggesting that Waterworks is just a Forerunner mining station, or something similar on Earth (since Earth was most likely just another planet used by the Forerunners - most likely for it's natural resources with the dinosaurs being on it for so long..)
Why are you spending 120$ on H3?
