A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

Can anyone remind me why Truth let Mercy die? It's been too long since I've played the game and was wondering about that scene.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

He was basically a maniac who wanted to be the sole leader of the covenant. He also set up Regret to be killed by the Master Chief, and then used that as an excuse to kick out the elites whom he hated.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Mercy knew the secret of the humans being identified as Forerunner artifacts.

This guy knows whats up. Truth wanted to be the only one to start the great journey, truth wanted to be the savior of the covvies. So in a nut shell...truth was just nuts.

All of the Prophets had ironic names - their natures went against their titles.

What a waste....

Basically, Mercy was already infected by the infection form and Truth also wanted to be the only person with power in the Covenant.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Am I the only one who never liked the Prophets? I mean, even as enemies? If you get what I'm saying. They're just boring to me. I don't know.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

That voice, man.

Anyone know why it changed in Halo 3?

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Truth is what we would describe as, well, a dick.

Truth: The biggest troll in history.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Because he needed an excuse that would allow the change of ''hats'' to occur, and let the Brutes replace the Elites as their guards and commanders of their fleets.

A plot that had been growing ever since the Prophets discovery at the hand of Medicant Bias half present in the Dreadnought that Humanity were some how related to the Forerunners. This meaning they would need more devote and fanatical subjects to abide their will.

As Truth said to Thel: ''Your race never really believed in the promise of the rings...''.

It would give them the opportunity to subjugate the Elites once and for all after the Sanghelli-San Shayuum(?) War.
