Halo 2/3 are simply Call of Duty with a Halo in the background, you die too fast, sitting behind cover heals you(WTF?), There's no fall damage so glitchers would get outside the map, and fall millions of feet unharmed after performing some super-ultra mega jump.
Pure idiocy at its "finest." CoD and Halo 2/3 are NOTHING alike in any fashion besides both being FPS's and using a health regen system, which CE was already using with its shields. Not to mention that CE had faster killtimes than either Halo 2 or Halo 3.
The only reason people keep saying that Reach is nothing like Halo: CE is because they have nightmares without the Battle Rifle by their side.
The only reason people say Reach isn't like CE is because its true.
Reach doesn't have CE's weapon balance.
Reach doesn't have CE's Golden Triangle balance.
Reach doesn't have CE's relatively great default map selection.
Reach doesn't have CE's level of campaign.
Reach doesn't have CE's uniformity.
Reach doesn't have CE's level of skill gap.
You're only kidding yourself if you even try to compare Reach to CE if you're basing your claim on a few similar implementations. There are significant and distinct differences between Reach and CE, and Reach is, by far, the lesser of the two.
