What's more important than 'competitive' gaming? Fun.

What is better about competitive gameplay rather than "competitive" gameplay is that true competitive gamers never give up.

Cheesy as it sounds it's 100% true.

These so called "competitive" gamers are the same ones that kill idle players while true competitive gamers leave them alone until they show movement, after all you like "competition" right? Surely with all your mighty BR skills, you can focus on the people giving "competition"?

I hope they enable a "dishonorable" medal to those who do idle killing, it's pathetic really.

Or people who snatch all the power weapons when it's 2v8 and they keep killing your idle partner.

That's how you separate "competitive" from competitive gamers.

Whenever that guy in 2v8 is still playing his hardest, even though the other team is camping the sniper, and his partner is a dummy for points for the noob team.

He stays and plays and fights til he has no more left in him, while a "competitive" player would ditch the other player and send messages to the power camping fanboys.

And the true competitive gamer is a real spartan.

Well, if I get into a game that's 2v8 with the 8 being my team and the other two people on their team are AFK, I'm going to gather power weapons and spawn kill so I am having fun still. That would be fun for me and it would be a Hell of a lot more fun than waiting 15 minutes for the timer to run down.

You can't possibly make sure all players in every game have fun in a situation where half of them will lose.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

You know what I would do if I was on the team of 8?

Quit. Wait, nvm.. Can't do that anymore.... Thanks Bungie. Thanks As.sHoles!

-blam!- dumbasses still trying go on about some kind of lame video game Honor..

Duhr! I'm a real spartan! Every match is serious business and I have to prove myself to losers who play video games over the internet....

I actually get that you were trying to defend me... but no... uh uh. Don't even try. I don't need your help.

See... I am that competitive player, that will wait for movement. I am that competitive player, that will pull my punches. I am that competitive player, That tells all the other "Competitive" players, that they are full of -blam!-. And that catering a game to "Competitive" players does not cater the game to casual players.

A real spartan, wouldn't -blam!- about AA's or Bloom!
A real spartan, wouldn't cry to have a quit ban made because too many people quit on me.
A Real spartan, would realize that there was alot of money invested into him, to get him into that suit. And wouldn't neeedlessly throw his life away.

A good General, knows when to quit the battlefield.
A bad General, continues to send his soldiers to their deaths, because he's too stupid to realize he lost.

Most of the so called "I never quit" players.. Would make horrible Generals. And I would never serve under someone like you. Because you're idiots. You're the kind of people who get other people killed, for no reason. Other than you have some kind of lame agenda to prove something.

Have you also noticed how these "Real Spartans" actually -blam!- and whine about having to take control of a situation to turn it around... (IE, you all -blam!- about joining a losing game in progress) You -blam!- before you even try. That makes YOU a loser. You're unwilling, to sit on my bench, in the occasional scenario that I need a replacement player. That makes you.... a loser, that didn't even try.

If you were to go off the image of what a Real Spartan does. His main purpose is to JOIN A LOSING GAME IN PROGRESS, AND TURN IT AROUND! That is what they were built for!

Throughout the entire campaign, that is the sense that I get from it. You joined a losing game in progress and are turning it around. IS that not basically what the campaign is?

If I don't like my day job. Why shouldn't I quit?
Go find a night job instead.

I wouldn't have to worry about the sun in my eyes, going to and from work. I wouldn't have to worry about all the dumbass tailgaters on the freeway.

You know what, speaking of tailgates on freeways.
Tailgaters = "Competitive" I HAVE TO BE IN FRONT!!! RAWR!!!

Do you realize how much you people -blam!- up traffic?
People have to merge on and off the freeway, that means, if you are in the right most lanes.. LEAVE A -blam!- GAP! 2 car lengths is not to much to ask.

Except the game and its design aren't supposed to reflect reality, and neither do the actions of its players. The game is about having fun and being competitive.

EDIT:
EOS, you are the type of gamer the ESRB rating system is meant to discourage; you apply one truth across too many fields even though it doesn't apply. "Hmm, this person thinks like this in video games, he must in traffic as well."

This is the most idiotic, off topic, retarded post I've ever seen on this forum.

It has NOTHING to do with the topic at hand.

Nothing.

At all.

You're an idiot.

Chug bleach.
