Subject: What Will You Never Forget?

The first sighting of The Flood. By all accounts, my reaction was priceless.

Stepping out of the escape pod on Halo and thinking how damned big the entire level was. Much later I actually realized it wasn't as big as I first thought. Just very, very clever use of space by Bungie.

Constantly awesome (60% of the time)

In all honesty, about every minute. I played H1 endlessly and a kid, and as a kid, I never got bored of it and remembered everything. Jump here, not there! Sleeping grunt in the corner! Run past the hunters so your camo lasts to steel a banshee! 2 flood drop, I get right, you get left! Rex! Grunty thirst! Using the warthog throughout ALL of the Silent cartographer! Is it a spider? Watch out for invisible flood! Hi, my name keyes. Wort Wort Wort! Killing Johnson on every mission! Trying to get into wraiths! Flipping with the ghost! I know exactly where to go and what to do on every part of every mission. Locations of Every Health Pack, every gun you find, every enemy is imprinted in my mind. I will never forget Halo 1.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

The release date.

My disappointment when I first played it. It still clouds my judgement if the game today

Swag punks, fuck off!

That feeling you get, ya know? That one feeling you get when your playing CE, I'll never forget how happy I feel playing it, looking up to the sky on Assault on the Control Room, gazing at the awesome environment. Also of course I'll never forget the fantastic story it told.

Dear tomorrow, Find some sensibility, Respond to emotion.
Dear Politician, Define sagacity,

Comedy is no excuse for our own blasphemies.
Mass media, Mass pessimism, Mass Denial.
My television tells me to panic, but I don't think I'll listen.
The apathetic force us to persevere, with their backwards priorities.

When you are first boarded by Covenant in the Pillar of Autumn and the dudes in the control room get killed by Elites.

1. Finding out the Wraith's name before the interwebs/guides.
2. Getting a 2nd Banshee up to the Control Room and seeing it in the cutscene.
3. Having a Hunter bump into fallen objects and then adjust to move around them...(thought I had him jacked...what a moment.)
4. Betraying my guys and having them turn on me. Wha ?
5. Wandering around like a db on Halo, having Cortana ask, "Were are you going..." and feeling it was real, as if she were actually present.
6. The absolute feeling of dread during "Belly of the Beast."
7. The Library. The freakin Library.
8. "The Flood" and "Final Run" feelings.
9. The "Holy S" of the Warthog run.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

Either landing on Halo, or the amazing multiplayer experience.

9. The "Holy S" of the Warthog run.
Which one? The Grunt badass, the huge drop, the shortcuts, completing the run with 7 seconds remaining.

7 seconds ? I swear I used to know a way to do it like that, but, in CEA, I couldn't find it. It seemed like certain...uh...turn hallways were closed off. Am I just crazy...(heh)

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

I've finished it with anywhere between 1-5 seconds remaining. Good stuff.

I wish developers would go back to the timer instead of using instant death on the spot to punish players for faltering.

Runs feel more forced as a result. It's why I didn't like the H3 Hog run (but at least that made sense, with the platforms falling below you. The chances of encountering the instant kill was low since most platforms fell).

I loved ce because it was unique and I remember when I managed to flip the warthog high into the sky with me in it with a tank and grenades on co-op with my brother. halo 4 isn't unique though it's a cod copy!

That's what I'm saying...
I swear there are doorways closed off on CEA.

It's possible, unless it's just visual deception.

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

The game that started it all man. I'll never forget those campaign co-op runs that lasted well into the night and those multiplayer lan parties that lasted well into the early morning.

Super Polar !
Help us out. Is there not a doorway/route on the final run that leads to a timer-eclipsing finish ? I swear CEA has shut it off.
