Made an account here to say basically YES.

Now I know Bungie doesnt own Myth anymore :/ so we prob wont see that. Its take2's game now I believe. But I'd love a PiD sequel, reboot, something! Something that combines the not so forced, but rich story where the player decides how much of it they want to explore with good gameplay. I want more magic crystals, more discussions with dead people that sort of thing. I remember as a kid I would spend hours talking to the dead guys in PiD not just because there wern't any other good games for Mac at the time.

If Bungie could bring back Myth though, please do? I know rights and stuff are messy things but that story just never felt finished. Plus the multiplayer community still exists (barely alive) today.

I still have my Myth 1 and 2 and PiD disks.

Fair enough, thank you. Though this is a thread on past Bungie games, not 343 industries future projects.
That doesn't sound mutually exclusive though. Any old Bungie games related to Halo most likely would be a 343i game. Bungie certainly won't be working on them. And I agree that I would love to see a Halo 2 remake. From an art-design standpoint, it's the best looking game in the series- several varied environments that defined the universe's visuals more than the original, H3, etc.

I'm not an RTS guy, so I can't really desire a remake of a game I know relatively little about. If Bungie did remake the Marathon trilogy I would certainly be interested but I'd like to see them take a more serious tone Bungie's never really done before. Even Reach's attempt of making the covenant fearsome failed. They were voiced by people speaking gibberish into a mic rather than making them sound like aliens which shouldn't be that hard (use distortion effects and mix in animal growls like any decent movie does).

Wait, what? There are no Bungie games "related to Halo" in a way the Bungie wouldn't still own them. All of Bungie's games tend to reference each other, but that's about it. Anything pre-Halo that Bungie did is fair game.... sort of. When Bungie left Take 2 as a publisher to be purchased by Microsoft they had to leave the Myth and Oni franchise as part of the deal, so they have no rights to those, if you wanted updates to that, Take 2 would have to be in charge of such a thing. Anything else is still owned by Bungie (which would be: GNOP, Minotaur Labyrinths of Crete, Operation Desert Storm, Marathon and Pathways into Darkness (Abuse was another "Bungie" game sort of, but I believe they only published it and don't own it, also that one's on iPhone/iPad now)) and is pretty much 100% up to Bungie to handle and has nothing to do with 343 Industries.

心の中に弱い風が吹いています。

I'd really like to play ONI again. Same goes for the Marathon games since I never got to play them. So yes, I'd like to see some old Bungie games remade.

I'd love a Marathon reboot/ remake, but I can see the ship AIs constantly being compared to the likes of GlaDos.

Oh, and if they did Oni again and REALLY nailed the third person/ melee mechanics. My god that'd just be amazing.
