I've been playing Halo since 2002. My earliest memories include hiding at the shotgun window on Damnation and killing my dad with grenades while playing co-op on Pillar of Autumn.

What makes them better than us?

They're not perfect either!

  • 05.18.2012 2:33 PM PDT

Ideally they shouldn't be breaking rules, so there is no need.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

Well after the incident that happened in the summer of 83. They took that site feature away.

Recon Number 54 did, he banned himself.

Key

Why would a ninja ban themselves under normal circumstances and with conviction and a complete and total seriousness?

We should be able to blacklist ninjas!

The world is quiet here. -L.S.

See you starside.

Ninjas are presumably selected because they do not fall victim to the same biasing/immaturity as the rest of us. Or the degree to which they do is low enough that it has little effect. also, people would just spam the report button on them to troll or out of frustration.

If you think a Forum Ninja is breaking the rules you should take it up with them or a Master Forum Ninja, if you think a Master Forum Ninja is breaking the rules then you should take it up with DeeJ.

As for why the button isn't there, I don't really know; I can understand it not being there for Superusers though.

If you feel they have misused their powers or broken rules, you can always report them to a Master Moderator or even a Bungie Employee. Also, I know some that have been kicked out. Not personally but found out they got kicked out. Not mentioning any names!

Ninjas on this website are trained not to break any rules, in fact they regulate the rules for sole purpose of making this website a family-rated website.

If you happen to be abused by one of the ninja, feel free to contact the master moderator or Bungie employee Achronos for the abuse.

... They're the ones in charge of the report queue. What good would reporting them do? It's just a waste of time on both ends. The Community Forum loves the phrase, 'People would abuse it,' but in this case? That's the ONLY thing is would be used for.

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Yeah, and if they do, hundreds of us will point it out, and they will normally ban themselves.

If you have a problem with a Moderator, bring it up with Achronos. A word of advice though. You better have your proof and facts all in line when you do.

The Elder Mexican Delicacy speaks the truth.

Cops are terrible at investigating allegations against other cops and it would be a bad idea to just have people dial 911 in order to report a cop breaking the law (odds are such a report would end up nowhere).

That is why there is (for police) a special unit and methodology for investigating their own and why here at Bungie.Net we ask that if a member thinks that a ninja is ignoring the rules, violating their agreement, or otherwise not living up to the (painfully low) standards of our peers, they should either report that (with links please) to a Master Ninja or to DeeJ.

Such allegations are taken seriously, looked into, and if substantiated, there are results. I've been counseled before, and those counselings helped me to better understand what our hosts expect and require from us.

Members would probably also be surprised how much team-review and requests for consultation occurs in HFCS (when we're not busy making fun of Achilles).

Ask smart questions

You spend awfully a lot of time looking at each post you make and consult each other whether you are doing your job correctly throughout day-to-day situations you deal with as a moderator on such a large community?

I don't think you quite understand what a ninja is.
