I stopped reading when I hit the Covenant titled paragraph, and read "I've yet to read Halo: Glasslands..."

Tread Title: Halo 4 and Why you Get No Opinion Unless You've Read The Books

In the Conclusion section: Read the book, I bed you!

....I'm finding this a bit hypocritical.

Interesting read. Just thought I'd just thought I'd mention that it's the beginning of a trilogy. So even if some things aren't included in the first game, it doesn't mean they won't tie in to some part of the trilogy.

Didn't read Halo: Glasslands, but I plan to.

Either way, my point is that without reading Glasslands, there's still plenty of evidence to support the fact that The Covenant is NOT a main antagonist, and I beg people to read the books because people don't and have all these bizarre opinions which they shouldn't have if they knew Halo lore. Unlike some, I do plan to read Glasslands once I get things like rent out of the way. My opinion on The Covenant is still valid.

As far as Installation 07 being discovered. Yes, it was explored in Halo: Primordium, but MODERN humanity.. as in, humanity as is in the Halo games, has yet to discover Installation 07. They only know of Installation 04, 04B, 05.. and according to BenTheSlayer011, Installation 03.

Now, my original post was made arguing the points on Halo 4's main antagonist, and why I think some theories are off. I did not say The Covenant, The Flood, The Precursors, and the Forerunner aren't IN the game. In fact, I think they're all going to be connected to whatever it is that happens in this new trilogy. It's actually impossible to think otherwise considering how connected things already are.

All this being said, I stand by the opinion that it's either the Precursors or a new species.

Also, I'm fairly certain the Forerunners, or some sort of Forerunner, will make an appearance. Are they enemies or allies? No idea, but considering the last few books and Halo Anniversary have been pointing toward the Forerunners, it only makes sense that they would appear in some capacity. It IS a Forerunner world that Chief lands on, afterall.

Agreed...Forerunner Vision in Halo 4 is now called Promethean Vision which definitely makes me think we either fight or are allies with or a combination of both the Prometheans/Didact. I really hope in the Reclaimer Trilogy we get to see Percursors too and find out the true meaning of what the Timeless One said about Flood and Precursors being the same. That was a total mind -blam!- for me.

I get the feeling The Master Builder could return in Halo 4, it was suggested he died on Installation 07 but it was never confirmed

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

I have an opinion and I didn't read the books.
