Has anyone noticed recently the lack of interteam 'type talk' of a useful nature when playing CTF type games.?
I have played some games where I have been the only one to bother typing team information. Makes for difficult games.
I wish more people would make the effort to do this, it makes a BIG difference to know when the opposite team are incoming and where thay are. Or when cammo guys are in the base etc.
Rant over ........ ;-)

Same here. Why does is it so hard for people to hit y and type in something as simple as hog incoming? I heard Iggwilv has a talk server and I have a mike, but i never see the server or if i do see it, then nobodies in it. I think more servers shuld have chat like that, but it should only be for teams so this wouldnt be as bad as thte noobs in halo2.

I usually do, tho I keep it to a minimum becuase usually no-one ever listens.

Esp if Im on IF and its a hog. A simple 'hog inc low' or high helps.

Most critical is when they get the flag, cos theres nearly always someone to stop them on IF. You will often find me saying 'Which way?' on maps like that.

Welcome to my signature, apparently I can't respond right now so please don't leave me a message, because I will not get back back to you after the beep.

Normally I try and take them out be for they get there, and I like to hang around groups. But if the occasion were I they get through then I will usually say unless I m in a fast vehicle, or in a difficult position.

Or when they get your flag, type which way they went. That way, team mates can intercept and return flag.

If they're not too busy flaming each other over who's being more of a noob...

Play the game people. If you really need to do a lot of chatting, go that-a-way.

Yes, it's ts20.clanservers.com:8824.

Teamwork is a very important factor in winning a game, but I never do it. I just spam meaningless stuff like "I like pie."

Mrr...it's difficult to type when you've got the flag. Stopping means death in those games. Setting up voice beforehand is the way to go.
