In the big scheme of things, does it really matter? No it does not.
Hiding is the result of three things. One, being that you are afraid. Two, being that you are doing something wrong. The third is a result of doing something wrong and being afraid.

Are you truly that ignorant? While the concept is unnecessary, stating with confidence and certainty that people would only want it for what you have stated is completely ridiculous.
Hiding and privacy are NOT the same thing. And in this instance, Skibur has requested an advanced in privacy features. Not protection from a threat. He's not worried or scared, he simply wants to have certain things unavailable for people to see. Mind you, when utilizing the Internet, one can only expect a certain amount in terms of privacy, but that's the risk and condition you're willing to accept when you visit websites.
But I guess if wanting a little privacy means we're all hiding something, then I guess I should leave all my doors to my glass house open, as well as windows. Oh well, and I'll leave all my personal belongings and information out for people to view so they know I'm not scared, nor am I hiding anything illegal.
