The name's Ian, Game Designer at Whisper Game Studios, very off-and-on Bungie.net visitor and avid Bungie fan overall. Message me if you wish.

I've been scouring the site at least once a day since Reach's launch, and I must say, with the darkness covering the company for the past year and change, some interesting things have been happening.

For one I have to say really cool random community events are happening which I find super awesome and I just wish I had the time to commit to events such as the write along that just passed. Though seeing as High School Grad is tomorrow, I've been pretty much taking the past few months to prepare for IB finals, graduation plans, etc. But I have been watching Bnet very carefully and the random community events I see are awesome.

Also, on a related note, more employees are posting around the forums. Not just developers specifically, but more so the site staff has been quite proactive publicly, another change to Bnet that I've grown to like a lot as well.

Besides those two, things such as a more tolerant and diverse fan base has made its way into the forums (though The Flood will always be tainted in my eyes with the foul expired stench of rejected /b/tards and underaged techie wannabes), as well as a more distinctly dedicated fan base (due to the member titles).

Just some few things I've noticed since the information blackout on Bnet. Though I am waiting quite patiently for my mind to explode with orgasmic pleasure once Destiny is shown to the public, I am definitely enjoying some of the exciting yet quaint events that are happening on here. I'll be sure to pitch my two cents in next time another community event is had around these parts.

I'd love to have some fun on here again :)
