does anyone know if the public can buy Bungie's stock? I remember them saying how they started trading stock on some level at least when they became a INC from a LLC

Key

I'm pretty sure it's employee owned and not publicly traded.

I could be wrong, of course.

  • 05.20.2012 1:07 PM PDT

I think they are owned entirely by their own employees, although I could be mistaken.

Sometimes starting back from square one does good...

Ask smart questions

They are closed. You have to approach an employ or anyone else within Bungie to purchase shares, if they are willing to.

A better investment would be buying stock in the company that supplies Bungie with snacks.

Pretty much. You're directly contributing to the brains of those who make the games you love.

Control the snacks, and you control everything.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I'd rather buy stock in the company that manufactures the snacks to be sold by the retailers you buy stock from.
OT: It's probably employee owned.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

Why in God's name would you want to?

Picture this: you've just annihilated a group of newbs in Halo matchmaking. One of them, angry at his defeat, sends you a poorly-written message threatening to report you to Bungie.

You send him a reply. "I am Bungie."

One day I'll find out what this is like... In the meantime, I'm afraid your analogy means nothing to me.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that they're probably not allowed (contractually) to sell their shares to anyone. If they want out they probably sell back to Bungie.

I only just realised that I spelt "noobs" with an "ew".

And that disturbs me.
