Anyone got any? I'm kinda stuck at the area near the first tunnel after leaving the base.

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Patience, patience, patience. Take your approach very slowly and be sure to eliminate EVERY enemy before moving on. If you get a vehicle, make use of the unlimited ammo and just inch forward until everything is dead.

1) Play with friends, it goes faster.

2) Warthog your way (you drive) to where the bridge is broken, after the first shield. You can drive better than the Marines, or I would hope. But give your Marine riding shotgun any good gun you can find. It's been forever since I played this, but if there is a fuel rod gun, give him that.

3) After the underpass you can avoid the entire next sequence if you stay on the extreme right side of the map and use the collapsed space elevator ruble as cover. Just pick up any deployable shield you may find along the way, stay right, and keep moving. Once you get to the next section of rocks, hijack the Wraith. All enemies behind you will have disappeared.
-There is a sniper rifle at the top over the underpass, but it really is not of a great deal of use. The longer you stay there to snipe brutes, the more they will push in on you.

4) I always used the Wraith at range from here on out, all the way to the end. You can long distance all other Wraiths, but you have to be patient, and bait choppers to come into view.

5) You can take down the last shield with a direct Wraith hit. The level won't end until you take out the Brute with the plasma turret, which stays bask by the shield.

Use the warthog turrets at a distance to take out any turrets, snipers, and strong enemies. then plow over grunts and speed past any phantoms trying to take you out. But don't stay still too long, brutes have 1 good grenade throw every 100 attempts.

A familiar face.

When I did Solo Legendary, I killed every enemy.

That was dumb. Fun fact: You can actually skip most of the level by just going past the enemies and activating the next sequence.

Yup. You can skip so much of it, it can be done in five minutes or less.

I thought he might have the eyes of a Mythic. We rarely see posts of those Legendary scum, so if I posted it he had a better chance of getting the information he needed. Yep. That's the story.

Fire from far distances.
Especially during the Brute jetpack part. That was always the hardest part for me on the level and far engagements made it super easy. Carbine, BR, and Sniper. Plasma pistol at times is ok, too.

When I was doing this Solo Legendary, I found that there was one large battle that, with persistence and patience you can run right by and not have to fight it. It's been I while so I couldn't tell you where exactly in the mission it is buy just stick to the edge of the playspace and try to keep out of sight. I'm pretty sure this is the part you meant but I'm not certain, hope I helped a little.

You can skip a lot of fights in the halo campaigns. Unless it's part of a speedrun it's not that impressive. I don't really enjoy campaign if I just skip the hard parts.

Agreed. Halo campaigns on Legendary are a good challenge when you don't skip through. Speed-runs and Mythic runs are different though.
