Are a lot of games optimized for PhysX(or whatever it's called)? Because it's pretty cool in Borderlands 2, but I don't know if many other games have features for that.
You can enable PhysX on Borderlands 2 with an AMD card.

Haven't tried it out personally.

I have a 7950, perhaps I should give it a try. There shouldn't be a noticeable dip in performance, the 7970 is on-par with the GTX 680 with PhysX set to High.

EDIT: Tried it out, not too pretty. Went from a solid 60 to 29. Nope, not trying it out again.

NVidia GPUs have CUDA which allows for the processing on the GPU, which is faster. AMD cards have to use the CPU.

Also, I would like criticism on this.
$650 but includes Windows and a Monitor
The integrated GPU is an HD7660D which (as far as I can find) is roughly the HD 5770 equivalent.

If needed, you could swap the SSD+HDD combo for a cheaper single HDD. That would save about $60

Looks fine for a Micro ATX build. But, if you want to do some serious gaming, I'd recommend a discrete GPU.

I know, I was just wondering. Was bored and decided to play around with some different ideas. It's very cheap for it's performance though, that's what I was looking for. I have 0 intention of getting this (unless I was looking into an HTPC).

And yes, the monitor is 900p

Pretty decent build for the price though.

The AMD APUs have superior GPUs when compared with Ivy Bridge but the same can't be said with their raw CPU performance.

True, but I was going for a well rounded build. One where no single component was the cause of slowness. I wanted to make it cheap too.

And I've never really looked into the APUs either

YOU FOOL! THE GOD OF HELLFIRE HAS NO NEED FOR COUPONS!

I have an Asrock n68c-s UCC (core unlocker, can unlock phenom cores and athlon cores that are locked due to malfunction or just to save money), my Athlon successfully becomes the Phenom x4 II b50, but it is very unstable. My motherboard can only support 95w cpus, so would the problem lie with too much watt consumption?

Did you offload the ini file to the cpu?
No, I didn't.

Any instructions how to?

Is there any difference in the infrastructure of AMD's CPU's then Intel's?

Latest AMD CPUS suck but the Phenom II are god-tier. Intel is more powerful but AMD is cheaper.

AMD also has better integrated GPUs. Good to look into them for laptops (without dedicated GPUs) and media center computers.

I see.
But I meant, is there any difference between the layout of the CPU, as the style of the pins and whatnot.

Yes. Only AMD motherboards work with AMD cpus and Intel MOBO with Intel.
