Ah, the internet. Where men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI.

So long as you're set on the parts you want, and you're making sure they're compatible along the way.

Since I don't have an official job and I have to get money other ways, is it an okay idea to buy the parts one at a time? I have a few other things I wish to save my money up for, so I can't just blow it all on the computer I want to build. I don't see what would be bad about buying the parts one at a time, but I dunno.I wouldnt personally advice it. Because, just like with any other product line, over time the price may go down, so better components may be within your price range.
My answer is also relative to how long you expect it to take you to finally get all of the pieces. If it is gonna take you a short time to buy the things (like before the products have a chance to go down in price), then buying them one at a time would be fine. However, if you plan on stretching it over a longer time span (which I assume will be the case), dont buy them one at a time, do it all at once. You can probably get a better or cheaper computer doing it all at once.
Were I you, I would just set aside some money every time you acquire more, but make sure you dont use any of it. Just save up and then blow it all at once.
