I gots a problem.
So I just got a new case (phantom 410). Plugged everything in and all, and it works fine. However, once I turn it on, after all loads, a message comes up saying "Warning! Power fan 0 rpm".
Im assuming this is talking about the fan for the PSU?
So to confirm it was working, a took it (the whole power suppl) out with everything plugged in still, turned it on its side, and turned the computer on. And it was spinning. Even when it was put back into normal position, I could feel air coming out the back.
It didnt do this on my other case (cooler master elite 430)
but it does on this one. I was thinking maybe it had to do with the fact that this new case has a fan speed controller built in?
So, anyone know why its yelling at me?
How is the PSU connected to the motherboard? I don't think I've exactly heard of a PSU fan issue before. Also, do you have your case fan controllers connected, or is your setup the same as it was in the other case? The PSU is connected to the motherboard with a 24? pin connector and another 8 pin one.
As for the case fans, they are all (5 fans) connected to the case fan controller, which I assume is working properly because I can control the fans. Before, I had a fan plugged into the mobo and then two others into the power supply.
