I'm looking for a new GPU for my computer that is within the $125-$200 price range. My last GPU was an Nvidia GTX 460, but after a year or two it stopped working and I could not get it fixed.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Either the gtx 560 or 560ti
decent cards in the 150 - 225 price range.

560 Ti

If hes guna be running programs from the CS5 sweet, Especially multipul of them along with maya and blender. He should go with 16. Maybe not 32. But def 16

I will be.

But I want to make sure I'm running everything smoothly, at all times.

I don't know how much strain it could have on 8GB or 16GB and I've only ever had 2GB but if the max I'll theoretically need with for whatever reason Flash, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Maya open, as well as some Camera program (say I'm displaying my work or some crap). If all that would use up 10-14GB I want to have more to secure it.

Obviously I'm pulling that number out of by rear side but you get the point.

I will have 3 monitors together so I occasionally (probably even often) be using multiple programs or tabs (which each tab runs as bad as the program in flash) to place them on different screens for better accessibility.

I mean if 16 will work for what I need that's great, and its what I'll start off with, but at least I know my motherboard supports more in case I'm wrong.

When I get it my first test will be running Blender, 3 Adobe Suite CS5 Programs, and something like Hypercam as a small test. Depending on how it runs is how I'll decide if I upgrade further.

You need a new computer.

I can link you parts for a $500 computer that can play any game to date.

Hi all!
So, i got all the parts and assembled them, installed windows and all the updates etc.
But, when i start the computer, first the asus screen comes up, and says "no device found"(along with an error beep!). Then It goes black. Then the asus screen comes back, saying nothing, and then windows starts normally. I plugged my SSD into he SATA6GB_1, and my dvd-reader into the SATA3GB_1. I also have an HDD that I have yet to plug in, but its also SATA6GB.
Did it plug something wrong? If it wasnt clear, its an Asus motherboard.

I am looking for advice regarding graphics cards.

I am building a system to use as a test environment as well as gaming from time to time. Would it be worth it to go for an AMD 7770 or should I just save some money and go for a 6670? There is about a $50 price difference between the two and I am wondering what kind of performance increase I should expect.

This would be paired with a AMD FX4100 and a Samsung 830 SSD. Where would the bottleneck be?

You will get a huge performance boost.

There should be no bottlenecking.

A new computer would be the best choice, given you have money for one.

At the very least, putting in a graphics card should let you run it decently, most likely on lower settings. Maybe a 6670 if you're not looking to spend too much?

Alright, that would be nice. But its a little expensive.
The Next step would be to look into video cards. So here is my main question for the flood, I need a nice low price Video card that can run Skyrim and other games decently.

Hello.
I'm wondering,will an i5-2500k would preform fine with Evega(or whatever it's called) GTX 560 ti DRR5 2GB
As I'm building a computer to make a Let's play series(I know, very unoriginal) of games like Skyrim,Fallout NV,Max Payne 3 and GTA IV.
Will the I5-2500k do justice,or should I bump it up to an i7? Thanks!

2500K is all you need, but for $10 more you can get the 3570K....which is a lot better than the 2500K.
