I'm going to embark on a pet project.
Build a good gaming PC for £500 or less.
Case
CPU
Motherboard
RAM
GPU
Power supply
Hard drive
Optical drive
OS
Price (WITHOUT shipping charges): $491.07
***NOTE***: All of these prices were added together from the Amazon listing. If you buy the product through a seller, it will be less.
Hate to break it to ya, but AMD arent that great with CPUs.
A lo of them have quite a bit of trouble with running certain games, and some cant run them all together even if they're powerful enough.
hell my friend cant play SR3 because he has an AMD CPU.
All depends on the CPU. Just like there are old/bad AMD CPUs, there old/bad Intel CPUs.
The CPU I chose in that build is a really good CPU. Not the best, but very good. It's capable of running any game to date.
yea, that's very true. personally i have never had a good experience with intel/nvidia. but the second i got an amd, i was able to play games with ease and haven't had any graphical issues, yet i don't go everywhere saying intel/nvidia are terrible cpu's. i think a cpu is all based in personal opinion on it's performance.
