Just replaced my stock CPU cooler with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus. Brought my CPU temps from 55C to 35C while under load.
It was hard as heck to install though due to a cramped space. Barely fit in my case.

Upgrading to crossfire HD 7770s, 16GBs of RAM, 850 Watt Modular 80+ Gold PSU, and a 1TB HDD this Christmas. Why? You don't need to upgrade any of those parts.
The only one I agree with is the HDD because there's nothing wrong with having more storage. But you really don't need any of those upgrades.
My current power supply isn't modular and it has a TON of cables. I ran out of room in the cable management areas and it's kinda cramped in there, so it's messing with airflow a little.
I need the extra RAM since I do some heavy video/photo editing.
And I game quite a bit, and for $150 extra bucks, I can future proof myself for another year or two by using two graphics cards in crossfire. Why not just get a modular PSU when you ordered the build then? Seems like a waste of money to me.
And if you must get 16GB of RAM make sure it's DDR3 @ 1600MHz. Also, the GPU you have right now is way more than enough for games, and since crossfire technology has some problems with it, I wouldn't say it's worth it. But that's just my opinion. You could either get another GPU or get a great keyboard or mouse or headphones, etc.
I was on a tight budget at the time, and the only modular PSU I could find at the time for around the amount of watts, was $75 dollars more.
I already have a good gaming keyboard and mouse and headphones, so I'm good to go on those.
