Just to let you know you guys shouldn't only worry about how much FPS you can get in a game when you're buying a GPU. There are plenty of other factors to consider.
...if you haven't got a GPU.
Seriously, the GPU handles 90%+of gaming performance, it should always be top priority. Unless you already have the best GPU money can buy, the only other option is to buy a second one or even a third one, or get the best processor money can buy.
Not that you'll need that of course, your monitor has to be able to support the kind of frames your GPU is pumping. Which means no HDTVs. If you're fine with 60FPS, HDTVs you have lying around can save money. If you really want to see 100+ FPS, you better be willing to drop a lot of cash on a 2ms screen. That wasn't what I meant. I know that how much FPS it produces is the most important factor, but there a plenty of other things to consider when buying a GPU.
For example, a 480 can give more FPS than a 560, but the 480 runs hot as hell and is super loud, and is probably more susceptible to breaking down than the 560.
