I am the will of the Empire.

Hey, I suck at this so can someone give me a list of parts I need and a place to buy them. I want to be able to run the newest games on max and be able to do pretty much whatever I want on it at a maximum.

You'll need to give us a budget, first.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit with 32 Gigs of ram is all you need for an OS, don't rush at getting Windows 8, it's not worth it.

There's a way of getting Windows 7 for only $8.

Posted by: TopWargamer
Here's what you do:

1) Download the Windows 7 PROFESSIONSAL (must be professional) 64 bit (x64) ISO file from this website. I've used it before, and it's 100% safe.

2) Next, download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool. You will use this to put your Windows 7 ISO onto a thumb drive or DVD. EITHER MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4 GB OF STORAGE ON IT.

3) In your BIOS, tell it to boot from the thumb drive (or DVD if that's what you're using).

4) Run through the Windows 7 installation process.

5) Now you need a product key. You can buy one from this guy. He has over 1,100 ratings, and his feedback is at 99.2% and he has a 5/5 stars rating. So it's safe to buy form him, and you will get your product key.

6) Enter in your product key once the installation is over.

7) Enjoy!

Alright, first off. You wont be playing any games on Windows 8. Trust me.

And can you please tell me the keyboard and mouse you're getting? I can get you two magnificent ones.

Anyway, here you go.

Oh come on man....you know better than that. Paying $90 for Windows 7? Just go with the $8 way.

Either this is someone who works at Microsoft or a school of some sort and has keys laying around, or he's using a keygen, meaning it's illegal and he could possibly track your computer with it.

So yeah, I wouldn't trust it.

I know that Salty is taking care of you, but I'd like to post the build publicly:

Slightly ammended.

You can get the operating system for free, but we would need to talk in PM's about that. With the money that you would save, you could upgrade the 2600k to a 3770k. You could even upgrade the PSU to a SeaSonic Platinum.

Keyboard.

Wrist rest.

Do you want speakers or a headset?

Ok....well....personal preference then I guess....to either trust it or not.

But I mean, the guy has over 1,100 ratings and his overall rating is 5/5 stars. I think he can be trusted.

Razr Naga and a Razr keyboard. Also, that is a good list but is it the cheapest for it's quality? Is the HDD a SSHDD?

I can get you a much better keyboard and mouse. And yes, it is. Also, I think you mean an SSD. I threw in both an SSD and an HDD. You will put the OS on your SSD, and put the rest of your files on the HDD.

Also, you should take a look at PMC Fluffy's post a few posts up.

The Naga is good, but stay away from their keyboards. They're made of cheap plastic.

Read this. (Outdated, but gets the point across.)

I don't know for sure if those keys are legit or not, but consider this:

Why would he buy a copy of Windows for $100 and sell it for $8?

He wouldn't, so how does he get the copies? Perhaps he found an abandoned warehouse full of Windows 7 disks? Unlikely? Moving on.

Let's assume the keys are legit. The only way to get this many copies would be to either buy student copies of Windows (which are illegal to sell) or to run some sort of business who gets unlimited copies (which are also illegal to sell). Even if he works for MS, he can't sell the keys.

Alright, so what if he torrented the copies, but decided to sell them? Well, torrents don't use actual keys, so he couldn't have done that. This leaves the keygen option, which might be possible. It would also make sense, because he's selling them cheap enough to stay under the radar.

The only other option would be that he takes a bunch of obsolete computers and pulls the Windows key from them. In all of these scenarios, the keys would either be illegal or not "new."

Just the quality of it. It has brown switches, which are good for typing and gaming. It also uses gold for distributing the signal between keys, which is why it's so expensive. I've been using it for a few months and it feels amazing.

Sure, it doesn't have LEDs or macros but for the quality itself it's so worth it. And if you do want macros you can get a Logitech G13.

I honestly don't give a flying -blam!- about macros. :P But this is the keyboard I currently use and it is -blam!- awesome. I've never had a single issue with it. Spilled -blam!- on it yadda yadda yadda. You know, the works. I've all but destroyed this keyboard and it still lives. That is why I want one very similar.
