Who the hell do you think I am?

I would get the Cosmos 2 (maybe) if I thought it would actually be able to fit under my desk D:

The average high end mechanical is ~$150, so $50 is a steal.
Go for it, it's an unbeatable bargain.

Concerning mechanical keyboards, has anyone here have any experience with the Black switches?
I use them. What questions do you have?
Mostly on comfort and noise. I heard it requires more pressure to depress than the Blues, Browns and the Reds.

How do I boot off a CD? Apparently the boot priority is set to favour the SSD/HDD. I burnt a Ubuntu ISO into a CD-R.
They do take a lot more force to press, although I only notice it when I'm typing and not so much when I'm gaming. My fingers fatigue a bit more, but usually only my pinkie when using the shift key. It's nice because it's more difficult to accidentally press a button, but that's also a flaw as when you want to press a key, you have to be more deliberate about it. It's definitely more for RTS and MOBA than FPS games.

Flood Kids? Lol.

My Case, WHICH I LOVE.

Btw, if anyone saw my 1k build from a few pages back its working great so far! Maxing out graphics Guild Wars 2 with 70fps average, 50 at the lowest. Awesome!!!

If you were to turn Lynette Bishop into a computer case, she would be the Cosmos 2.

Holy crap, that's huge!

As for boot options, I thought you can bring up a separate boot menu? I can't seem to access the BIOS as the splash screen thing is disabled.

XFX Radeon HD 7870 looks yummy...especially with such a nice discount.

Best card eligible for the promo.

Guess Ubuntu hates me, it froze mid-way during installation. I had to hit the reset switch and I had to merge the partitions created by the installer with my Data drive.

Tried installing with a USB stick. But it froze but not during installation.

Does it plug-in to a USB slot? Then it would be fine.

Your computer will be able to drive them. You won't need an amp for anything less than HD600 tier.

Don't worry, headphones that need amping are typically $300+ anyway, so you definitely won't get confused.

Sennheiser is a pretty decent brand, great looking headphones with nice and neutral sound. However their build quality isn't quite up to par.

Speaking about headphones...could anyone recommend me a good pair of in-ear earbuds? Something that doesn't cost a fortune but still with decent sound.

This isn't entirely true. Headphones will perform better with an amp in the post-$200 range, but getting more expensive cans instead of an amp will yield better results. As for the sub-$300 headphones that need an amp; Beyerdynamic.

VSonic GR06, hands down. They don't sell them on Amazon anymore, but they do on eBay. I own two pairs myself. It also comes with all of this and is one of nine to receive a 10/10 value on the Multi-IEM thread.

That freaking amazing moment when an out of case build runs properly.

I do have an issue though, so I'm plugging the front panel cords into the motherboard (ex. USB, fan control, audio, etc), and I have an incompatibility of sorts.

So this is my System Panel Header in the motherboard booklet. the PLEDs and the HLEDs fit perfectly fine, however on the same cord I have these. (In case its too blurry they have two holes for the pins/prongs on the boarr, and they read "Power SW" and "Reset SW". There is no slot for these on the system panel header. Help please, this whole thing is stalling my build right now. =\

Your manual seems to list them as PWRBTN# and REST#. I can't make out most of the headings in your picture of the actual board, but I certainly see a "reset" spot labelled on the board. Could you take another picture from a different angle of the board?

I recommend this amp, great if you have a good compact mixer if you're finding it hard to find speakers with over 1k watt peak, just daisy-chain em with some extra jacks.

EDIT: Wait, this isn't live sound it is?

Forget what I said

What is your motherboard?

It seems as though the Power SW goes on the last two prongs on the top row, The Reset SW goes on the last two prongs on the bottom row, the two power LEDs go on the first two prongs on the top row (+ on the left and - on the right) and the HDLEDs go on the first two prongs on the bottom row (again, + on the left and - on the right.
