He has an i3, so it wouldn't do it very well.

Most games have a setting in the .ini that you have to edit. You would need to mention a specific game.
I actually turned up the PhysX settings in Borderlands 2 to high.

It looks pretty and all but my FPS? 60 > 29 where there is any water effects.

Did it offload to the CPU? I have a Core i5 3470.

Okay, a few more questions. I have still been looking at video cards and I have kind of narrowed it down to two specific models.

The MSI 660 Ti PE

and

The XFX Radeon HD 7950 Black Edition

What one should I go for? The 7950 is only about $25 more expensive.

1. Is it worth it? Will I even see much of a difference in quality (I am playing in 1080p)?

2. Is one card more future proof than the other?

3. What about reliability? I have heard that Nvidia is in general more reliable than AMD.

4. How hard it it to overclock each of the cards? I have no experience in this area so it would be nice if it wasnt too difficult.
The 7950 would be easier to overclock. They are nearly on-par in terms of performance but I chose the 7950 because it was cheaper.

Future proofing? The 7950 would be better for that since it has a faster memory bus and higher VRAM.
Honestly, when choosing a GPU, it's best to look at benchmarks and see which card does better at the games you want to play. Some games will do better on AMD, while others will do better on Nvidia.

Motherboard suggestions? Currently looking at the Gigabyte GAZ77X-UD5H. Also stupid question, do I RMA through the seller or through the manufacturer? Will I get a refund or a return? Was hoping I'd never have to go through this process.

If you just bought it, you should be able to send it back and get a refund through Newegg's RMA process.

I've heard good things about these Mobos.

Also, how good is this motherboard?

The best sub-$200 mobo is the ASUS P8Z77-V series, no exceptions.

For the RMA, it depends. When my G.Skill RAM stick was bad, I had to send it back through G.Skill (no cost, got a new stick in two days), but with other components you use newegg. Try checking your profile and find the RMA section.

I don't have any experience with the Micro series. I only use full ATX and Mini.

You could play some serious Minecraft with that processor.

And then they try it on an ASUS mobo and hit 7.5 GHz.

I've been playing CoD on the pc (the singleplayers). No matter what setting I use, I get....I don't know how to explain it.

When I enter a room/hall and I see the corners, it "slides", but it's a "jaggy" slide. It's not smooth. Anyone explain this?

I know exactly what you're talking about....but I dunno of a fix for it, or if there is even a fix for it.

It's the only thing that bothers me in these games (and grenades)!

I've been *googling it, but since I'm even having trouble on what to type on the search bar, I couldn't find any solutions.

Isn't that to make the lines smoother? They are, but, like I typed before, when I turn , they do a "jaggy slide". No screen tearing.

*it only happens when I turn, not when I stay still or move in one direction.

Is your GPU an AMD one?
If so, then yes, it might overwhelm the CPU.
I nave no issues with Intel Core i5 3570 and PhysX, then again my GPU is an Nvidia one.

No no no,If your GPU is Nvidia, NONE of the physX calculations are offloaded to the CPU

Nvidia intentionally avoids optimizing PhysX for the CPU for AMD Systems so that people will buy their cards

It's not a dick move, Nvidia own PhysX
