Wall-mounts usually range from $100-$300. You can see a few of them on Amazon. Remember, you get what you pay for. Most people I know just make their own.

Hello guys.
Should I worry?
I have like 790GB left, and should I worry?
Because once on my Laptop I had 30GB left and it crashed, so I figured if I should worry?
Sorry if stupid question...
Also, Wargamer.
I'd like a Beta key if you have a spare one. ^^
My drives still boot fine.

$320 is £200.

GTX 670s cost £300 minimum, or $480...

AMD needs to step up in driver quality...

Explain.
It's the 12.11 beta. It's a beta anyway so there would be some bugs.

Went back to 12.10. I think I'll wait for 12.11 to go stable. But enjoyed the performance boost in Battlefield 3.

It's MSI's version

that's dirt cheap, just replace the heatsinks yourself and overclock em.

I don't see what you're complaining for then.

Question: How much better is Corsair PSU's over Antec?

Corsair

antec

I'm on a pretty tight budget and every dollar counts so my question is would 25 dollars more for a Corsair PSU be worth it?

EDIT: I bought the corsair psu. It was on sale to 55 dollars so I figured I would get it.

Also
Asus mobo
Asrock mobo

I'm not to concerned with features such as how many usb 3.0 ports each mobo has mostly reliability.

Not too well acquainted with the Z75 or B75 chipsets but they have the same amount of USB 3.0 ports.

The ASRock board is a bit cheaper though.

4 dollar difference after shipping. But do you have experience with asus or asrock? Reliability of boards and such?

Get the Antec PSU.
And what processor are you getting?

  • 11.01.2012 8:30 PM PDT

proud casual gamer

Im getting a pretty funky clock-speed for my cpu as seen here.
http://imgur.com/1Gb49
its a base model 2011 imac, and the cpu is supposed to be limited to 2.5GHz, but ive seen it as high as 3.2GHz since ive installed windows 8. any idea why?
Also, windows 8 gives me another .15 points vs OSX 10.7 on cinebench, which is nice.

I think that's Turbo Boost kicking in.
According to this, the CPU overclocks itself to 3.30GHz when Turbo Boost kicks in.

ASRock low end > ASUS low end
ASUS high end > ASRock high end

ASUS has a better warranty and customer support in my experiences.

I vouch for the Corsair PSU as well, since that's a great price for it.

I don't like it because the back panel port is a bit lacking, although I guess it looks cool. Temps would be lower, which results in an extra 0.1 GHz or so, but I'd rather put the money towards more important parts.

It also generates a bit of a noise from what I've heard due to the small diameter fans.

what does it lack
Actually, it has more USB 3.0 ports than a P8Z77-V, giving it a total of 8 USB ports. Other than that, they are quite similar other than the thermal armour.

Who the hell do you think I am?

Finally my 670 works after a second RMA. Haven't played any games yet so I'm not sure if it works to its full potential, but at least it lets me get to the desktop...
