Can anyone give me a guide on how to choose computer parts for myself? I don't know everything and can't really tell what everything's about. How much are you going to spend, and do you need a monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse, anything else?
It's not about things like that, it's about being able to tell what parts are good or not for my needs. I don't want to trust anyone on the Internet for parts. Anyway though, I plan on spending at least $600 on the PC and I don't know about peripherals yet.
I've just started researching how to get a gaming PC.I put this together, and if you don't trust me, I guess, you can just use these parts as a basis of some sort: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sHT1
It's just the tower though, so nothing else.
Thank you. I'm also judging off of this video. I wish I could just find a site or video that could spoon feed me all the information cause I feel like I'm looking for scraps of information. Well, it does take a little bit of effort to research this stuff. Keep in mind that there are always new parts being released and prices are always dropping on most things so whatever source you're using, it may not always be up to date.
If you really want it to be as simple as possible, there are guides that show various combinations of parts for different price sets (I don't have them on me, someone here probably does though.) Newegg.com also has a very helpful, 3-part tutorial on assembling a PC.
