Until you've done a lot of research about overclocking, just stick with the Intel stock cooler. Also, stay away from Zotac cards. Go with EVGA, MSI, or ASUS.Right, well the main question then is do you think I can build a viable computer that can do high end gaming which all fits in a smaller than standard case?Psh, you could do that with $600. Here's mine.

Looks like a perfect build (although the SLI 680's are unnecessary), although I'm afraid to ask how much you spent on it.
And what PSU / case is it in?
Fractal Design Arc Midi Tower
PowerSupply: Corsair TX 850W V2 80+
I don't really get how the case can be refered to as Midi because standing next to my other computer it's freaking huge, probably twice the volume. That thing should be called maxi. And it doesnt look particulary cool but I don't care much about that. It cost me $2000, which I thought was a fair price compared to other pre-built PC's I looked at. This is in Sweden, where we usually are paying an extra 30 % compared to the US prices, so an estimated US price would probably by a few $100 below that. That's an amazing price. The CPU and GPU's are both worth $1300 in the US.

Guys, I have a big, really big problem here.
Apparently, someone was doing unauthorised electrical work at a house nearby. In fact, this sends a massive power surge down my house. Many of my appliances are now FUBAR. My two routers are dead, my kitchen blower is dead, my printer is dead, even my speakers are surprisingly dead too and my iPad charger is non-functional.
My PC suffered, I was playing Battlefield 3 and I noticed a massive amount of smoke billowing from the PSU. I immediately pulled the plug.
After a few hours, I restored power to my house. The computer turns on but when I play a game or something, there's an ominous crackling sound from the PSU.
I'm at a loss here, should I replace the whole computer or just the PSU? The homeowner is willing to compensate.
Sue the crap out of him. You can bring it up to your homeowner's association.
Sue for enough for a new PC, although your PSU might be the only damaged component. You'll have to replace all of those other appliances as well obviously, so he'll need to compensate.
But don't let him do it without going to court first. He's just trying to get out of it because he knows that it'll cost him a lot. It's his fault for messing with something that he wasn't qualified to do.
