My next purchase will definitely be sound equipment. Since I already have a pair of M50s, should I get a mic and soundcard, or AD700s and mic, then get soundcard after that?

With my much experience with Razer (Blackwidow, Imperator, mousepad i cant remember the name of, and SEVERAL onza's) I have concluded that their products are flawed by their ABSOLUTELY -blam!- TERRIBLE QUALITY. The drivers for the blackwidow are -blam!-, the imperator is not so bad driver wise, but both of them will poop out on me occasionally. The onza has to be replaced every six months at best, the rubber pads wear off and buttons malfunction. No at this point I predict a fanboiiii move, and you will say I treat my stuff like crap. Well nope.avi I tread everything I own like gold.

Plus their support is TURRIBLE.

They need some quality control is this joint.

I'm currently having a problem using dual monitors. Every time I boot up my PC, the monitors are set to 'Clone display' when they should be set to 'Extend display' so I constantly have to change the setting every time.

Currently using Windows 8. I haven't updated my BIOS for my P8H77-I. Could that be the problem?

@Fluffy MOTHER OF POSTS! I have the Asus Formula V, which supposedly have awesome on board sound. So I wanted to avoid a sound card.
See, if I was OP, that post would be on the first page >.>

No motherboard has good on-board audio. Not even $500+ motherboards. Without a soundcard, you can't have more than 2.0 audio in a headset (Even Razer, Logitech, Tritton, and Turtlebeach headsets. They're liars.) Soundcards use Dolby Digital to produce true 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound within a headset, but only using two drivers. With speakers, you can have 5.1/7.1 using onboard, but it won't have the same soundstage.

Razer is not a bad brand at all. Some of their products are overpriced though.
Their only good product is the Deathadder, and the SteelSeries RAW is the same price.

I also have their Onza, which has lasted me a year, but apparently it has a lot of reliability issues. Their customer support is also absolute crap.

Get an ASUS Xonar DGX first. That matters most. The M50 doesn't have great soundstage, but it will do until you can afford an AD700. You generally want to purchase the mic with the headset so that you can use both.

He's saying that headphones can't actually have 7.1, they can only simulate it. That has nothing to do with the different colored audio plugs on the motherboard, those are just for different things.

Umm... So I bought EVGA 650 Ti SSC and when I play Far Cry 3, the temp goes to 80-90 degrees Celsius. When the close the game, the temp goes all the way down to 30 C in a few minutes.

Is is ~85 C too hot for a 650 Ti? I thought they were supposed to run cool. I just installed it today by the way...

Above 80*C is considered bad but not dangerous. Over 90*C is absolutely poor.

What's your cable management like? How many fans do you have?

Also, if you can stand the noise, download MSI Afterburner and have it run your GPU fan at max speed. That can decrease the temps by 10*C, more or less.

I have a modular PSU with few cables. Only one for a SSD, one for a HDD, and one for the GPU.

I have one top fan and one back fan.
The speed of the fan on the GPU only reaches around ~54% MAX.
Is this normal for a SSC'd card?

Right now, it's only 28*C.

It decreased the temperatures on my 670 by about 50C whenever I turn the fan all the way up (during games).

Something must be wrong in your system then (or suspicious). My SLI 670 cards don't pass 60C (+-2C) during gameplay (for example Metro 2033 at max).

It gets up to even 78C when just playing minecraft, but when I turn the case fans all the way up and the 670 fan too, it goes down to 35-40. But it stays at 23-25 when idle.

Actually, I just tried it right now and it's staying at around 50C, but I thought it was more before. Wait nevermind, it's shooting close up to 60.
