I feel like I -blam!- up somewhere installing the heatsink... Newegg video wasn't much help, neither was the heatsink manual... I didn't install the backplate that goes on the back of the motherboard and it just feels really lose, but i'm not sure for how long to keep screwing it in.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND Newegg sends me the wrong PSU. Of course, they send me a non-modular one. Of course... Now I'm in the same boat as Thirsty... somewhat. Wait, did they? I thought modular PSUs don't have any wires attached at all.ALWAYS USE THE BACKPLATE!
If you don't, you can crack your motherboard and fry your CPU. Check this video.

Alright various Wizards of the PC thread, I just got a Samsung 840 120GB SSD and a copy of Windows 7 64 bit. I have no idea what I'm doing. How do I install this thing from the start? Thanks ;DHere.

What the -blam!- Newegg. What the -blam!-. Would you recommend still using it? Or should I return it. This is the PSU, by the way.Dude, that PSU is top of the line for under $100. Why the hell would you want to return it?
Also, modular =/= fully modular. It doesn't matter which one it is as long as you can hide the cables.

Well, my computer is already built and I have it booting from my HDD right now which has Windows 32 bit on it right now. (The only reason I used 32 is because I had it lying around at the time). So now I'm adding the new SSD, does that change anything?Considering the fact that 32 bit can only use 3GB of RAM, you'd benefit more from a x64 OS than an SSD.
