I was able to repair Windows using a Windows 7 ISO I have on a DVD. Didn't want to re-install it because I had a game save I needed to transfer onto a hard drive for my new computer.

How did it get corrupted?

No idea...just turned it on and boom...."Windows has failed to start up."

I fixed it though...so it's all good.

This is why you don't waste your money purchasing Windows.

The best one.

Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

This one is good, but pretty pricey http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168238160 02&Tpk=corsair%20K90
I just built a PC, can't afford it :<
There are still great Mechanical keyboards without backlighting for cheaper like the CM Quickfire Rapid boards. Otherwise you should expect to spent a bit on them.

I forgot about the Ducky with blue LEDs, when you do get the money that would be the best one to get, the one PMC linked.

Also, if I have stereo headphones, would a sound card make a difference?

Google the download for that DLL file, then put it in the game directory folder. Then run it and see if it works c;

You have an AMD card, which obviously doesn't have PhysX, but Metro requires PhysX to run. Download PhysX from the Metro installation folder and install it.

As long as it isn't USB.

That's what I assumed.

What, just checked. I see that specific .dll in the folder...

Wrong. I was playing it earlier with my AMD card and I didn't have to install anything extra. But no, the headphones aren't USB. What exactly will this sound card do?

Odd. The game worked for me and I have an AMD card.

I have an issue with my Realtek Audio driver.
I can't see to play Battlefront 2 because of it, it works wonders on Windows 7, as I played it for hours on my laptop, But I can't load it up on my Desktop.

I'll reinstall later then, I guess. I still need to install Borderlands 2, and I assume that's a big game.

Borderlands 2 also installs PhysX drivers. I suggest run BL2 first than Metro 2033.

Also, if you need help in BL2, just hit me up on Steam.

You're Declaimer, right?

Hm, I'm kinda wishing I would have gotten a 670 now, seeing all these games with PhysX and all that, but whatever, the 7970 will be good.

The 7970 is a godly card.

I also wished that I've gotten the 670 because of PhysX but the 7950 is no slouch when it comes to gaming. I run all games at ultra without any hitches, including Metro 2033 at Very High.

And yes, I am Declaimer.

Except the 7970 outpeforms the 670, and you can still use Physx but it'll be offloaded to the CPU.

The 7970 is the best single-GPU card you can get currently.

PhysX effects does work in BL2 on AMD cards. Just that there will be a performance dip. I wonder how well the 7970 + i5 3570K (yours right?) would fair out.

I guess so, but when I bought my 7970, a EVGA 670 was $10 less, so I think the price/performance might have been slightly scaled, but whatever.
