I use the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, which is an optical mouse. It's part of the Game Precision Series, and I love this mouse. It's got five buttons in total: left-click, scroll click, right click, and a small button at each side of the mouse. The left button by default acts as the "Back" button for browsers, and the right button uses a zoom-in feature that enlarges objects.

I play HPC with my mouse sensitivity at 3-5, and I can aim smoothly and fluidly. I love my mouse, it's ergonomic and can be used by either left-handed or right-handed people. Without it I wouldn't be able to pwn as much noobs as I would with it.

I have an IBM true blue (that means it actually has the lined IBM in blue) which is ancient. probable before the Windows 95 period. It works.

Logitech Cordless Optical M-RR95. Great for all-around purposes, wireless is something that works in my cluttered dorm. Came with the Mouse-Keyboard package I bought.

3 button logitect mouse, part of some wireless suite. It's optical and suits me fine. I also have another logitect mouse from prior to my suite and it has 4 buttons.

Gah I wish I knew brand names :P

Logitech, KEIO, Microsoft Optical, Mac, etc. You can always google for brand name computer mice.

I suggest you buy the Microsoft's Laser Mouse 6000, or Microsoft's Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. Microsoft and Logitech have some really good mice.

I have the Apple one-button mouse that came with my Mac.

It does its one intended function surprisingly well.

On Halo, I play with a sensitivity of Se7en.

I don't play with such high sensitivities on Halo PC because my Laser Mouse 6000's movement speed by default is high enough, and changing the mouse sensitivity in-game would make me so dizzy I would vomit.

If I didn't play with this mouse, however, I'd probably play with a sensitivity of 8ight. :P

Hey, what about the KEIO (Kensington) mice? They have good quality mice, hell, even the ball KEIO mice were top notch (well, maybe in those days).

They never were. I never said "Laser" optical mice. "Laser" Mouse 6000 is the name of the model, duh.

Hm...if it's definitely a laser mouse, it's a laser mouse, not a laser-optical mouse. They can't be both, it's either one or the other. Optical mice use a lower-intensity light, and while Laser mice use the same concept and may look the same, they use highly focused light (aka Laser) and are called as such.
