]I don't know. And neither do you. And at this point, me saying that the separate subscription based special services feature is a cookie in the mail from DeeJ every month for the low, low price of 50 dollars a year is just a plausible as anything you suggest.

You're trying to turn pronouns in to nouns without any context for the conversion.
Okay then, in this hypothetical question, it is in fact a pay to play subscription.
It depends on the quality of the game, the size of the userbase, the competency of the maintenance, and the end-game content.

Like I've said a million times throughout this thread, imagine it is an absolutely perfect game.

Why has no one mentioned price at all? Price is the biggest factor. Even if this game is God incarnate, some people couldn't afford all that stuff depending on the price, and some people just like to budget extra money aside.

It depends... I want to see the game and what it offers. I know I'll buy the game, but if I don't have a huge love for it then obviously I won't pay a subscription fee or purchase in game content. We know nothing about it other then preplanned release dates.

Anybody not willing to pay for the perfect game is a cheap-skate.

Do you realize how implausible it is that everybody in the gaming community came to the agreement that a game clearly trumps all others in, at least, almost every aspect? If something is THAT incredibly good, anybody would be compelled to play that at a reasonable subscription basis.

I didn't mention money? I could've sworn I did. Include that, too.

The whole point of F2P is to be good enough to want to pay for more. I would because it's from Bungie. Bungie is like the Pixar of games. It's gonna be good.

... or they could be someone that can't afford to spend that much money on a single video game. They could need that extra money for food/gas to be able to live. Not everyone is living comfortably.

If it's just like Planetside then why not just play Planetside 2? It's free to play with micro-transactions.

I'm sorry, I came off like an ass. What I meant was anybody with the expendable income to pay for it, would.

It's all good xD That's actually one of my main concerns with this. I just paid for a gaming desktop which I've been saving up for over a good few years. I know there are a lot more people out there in today's market that don't really have the necessary funds to add this much to it. It would have to be worth giving up every other game to play for me. :P

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

Where did it say we're going to have to pay a subscription or is this just hypothetical?

It's hypothetical going on the information we already have. Anyone would be silly to say we know for sure. :P

Bungie pro is a value added service.

also of note that it is a mutual agreement between bungie and activision, so who knows, it might not even have a subscription.

I'm sorry :P I didn't see the thread until just now. You could count mine as slightly different seeing as how I'm considering every piece of payment and not just a monthly fee. :P
